It was like this last Monday. Most everyone was pretty inarticulate then, too.

I went shopping for new jeans this morning and I've dropped a size!! Mind you, I didn't try sitting down. I'll have to wear them when I'm doing my presentation on tintypes -- I'll be expected to remain on my feet.

Now, I shall be on the road from tomorrow afternoon through next Monday. If all goes well, I'll have pix of possible or actual destination home. For sure, I'll have stories! The only unpleasant prospect is the flying part. I do hate intracontinental flights.

Sporky, I thought you told me your cat was a coon.

Has anyone found themselves inexplicably subscribed to something called iExpress? I think the other place may have sold my username (which I only used on two occassions) in a most annoying fashion.

Correction, that's iExpect.

I have not seen any spam with that name, but then again I use a spam trap for most things. I tend to use quite a few filters on the email that I read, the rest of it goes to a different account which I troll only very rarely.

Mondays here at [name removed by Marv] are very dreadful at the moment. We have just started taking priority one cases which means that the client has a network down situation that we have to solve. They add more than a little stress to the day.

So that's the stuff the guys at the weekend couldn't fix then Marv

Sorry about Gretta, Lil. I had to have my almost 21 year old cat put down last fall. She had been failing for several years, but eventually it just wasn't fair to force her to keep going.

Sporky, I can't believe you couldn't get an emergency appointment. Your kitty could possibly have a urinary blockage. They are very painful and fatal if not treated quickly. *crosses fingers that is okay*

Spent yesterday in glorious sunshine here, gardening happily and managed to cook my skin a bit...ouch.

Another scorcher today and it was mass friends, kids and b-b-q. They are all looking forward to winding up our kid-to-be with chocolate and getting it excited, to get their own back for all the years I did it to theirs (and then left for home in the evening, leaving them with hyper children)

No BBQ's for me today - just a quick lunch at the local wayside inn, and a bit of golf practice on the lawn...

Looking back many posts I'll try to make the Brit Eng meet up if I can, but no promises because W*** may defeat me.

Well we are not coming off of a long weekend. but we have been killed with high priority cases all day. I have been on one for hours and there seems to be no end in sight.

[sea] i get iExpect spam..... it's annoying. i delete it immediately...

And then the spammers have that little trailer that says something like "If you don't want to receive this, reply." Ha ha. Now we've found out that you read us, you gormless spammee, now we're REALLY going to fill your little lunchbox!

And then there's the hotmail account. Don't anybody send anything to my hotmail address, cos I never read anything in that mailbox. I don't need any bodily parts enlarged (even if I had the body part in question), I require no diet news, assistance getting out of debt, or revelations about travel destinations.

This is my last post, probably till I get back; I will have the laptop, but will confine myself to email cos of dialup expenses.

Chris, would you mind seeing to the calling card situation? Just call in the gardener bot; he mulches them into compost. Everybody, please continue to make yourselves at home, and don't forget, there are guestrooms. I expect to have a wonderful time, and thanks for all your good wishes!
