A and I used to find that we studied best when actually in the same room, and we'd remind each other to stop and do more work.

Rainbow and Ben had an amusing night and B's flat the night before she moved.. spent playing with Fluff, my new pet snake, watching dogey vidoes and drinking rather good wine.

Rainbow is the friend of mine who kindly organised the purchasing of the Ball Python that I am giving Z as a house-warming present.

'Fluff' as he's called (though I still say it should be 'Cuddles') is diddy, and very very pretty, and all together a fine young reptile.

Rainbow brought him to the flat the evening before the removal men came to empty it, and Z, being the sweet-natured softie that he is, spent the entire evening getting to know Fluff, and giving Fluff the chance to get to know him. I barely had the chance to say 'hello' until we got Z on the train back to Birmingham!

Oy, I had a date with my dental hygenist on my lunch break. That wasn't so bad (until she poked a sensitive spot on a tooth with the sharp hook), but the dentist had a look at the choppers after the cleaning and noticed I have one old filling falling apart. I have to go back next week to have it replaced.

Cheese -- Smoked Gouda! Our local gourmet restaurant does a superb pork tenderloin in Japanese breadcrumbs with a smoked gouda sauce.
