Plan?
Garius Lupus Posted Aug 27, 2000
Red, Sea, Black and Montressor are in the engine room of the Mangar, trying to carefully sabotage a piece of equipment that lies under the place where Montressor will be hidden. Link and Y2k have just stepped outside to battle. Nerfal and the other 2 clones are somewhere in or around the Mangar (not sure where). Red-shirted extras are converging on the engine room, heightening the tension.
GL, Peet, YK (I think), LIntilla, Irving and Affy (who still chews a massive piece of gum and hence can't speak), along with a bunch of Yaks are at the door to the dungeon, which is open. Somewhere behind them is an invisible Yak (actually, a visible yak wearing an invisbility cloak).
*GL walks through the dungeon door. Inside is a large room, divided across the centre by a thick wall of clear ice. On the far side of the ice wall can be seen a desk, filing cabinets and other office accoutrements. Above the desk, on the wall, is a large map of Zork. Seated at the desk is an old man with a long white beard. He turns as GL enters and smiles through the ice wall. GL examines the wall and sees no openings from his side of the room to the DM's side of the room. The wall appears to be several feet thick, so shattering it is out of the question. Although it is warm in the room, the ice is freezing to the touch and is not melting.*
Okay, guys. Any ideas?

Standing behind that clear wall like that, grinning, he looks kind of like Hannible Lecter! Maybe there's one of those tray things to pass documents and stuff through that don't have any paperclips or metal peices?
*goes to look for document tray thingy, trips on a rock, and spills a small portion of the contense of a jar of the green goo, which he had collected, on the base of the ice wall. Part of the wall melts a little*

~Meanwhile, back on the Mangar, Red dispatches a few rse's, then shuts all the doors so that they won't see what he's doing. He continues to cut wires and such on the transmographire~

That's the second way I've seen someone spell "transmogriphyre".

Third. And I'm in the DM's room, too...
Mew!
[floats down from, apparently, inside the chandellier]

~Look, I'm not a great speller, and I don't have my calvin and hobbes book with me to check the spelling, alright?~

*is somewhat bored and decides to feed her pet furball jonny, so she finds a few RSE's and lets him feast*

*Aside: I realize this is a bit unproffessional, but, Garius? Or Affy, if you're here, I need to speak with a CLI employee at http://www.h2g2.com/F32669?thread=73097&post=554356 to discuss... something I'm doing in the Space Centre*

Mew, if you8 can get from here to the DM's head, would you mind delivering a piece of paper for us?

Mew (who is hovering in midair unless otherwise stated) Posted Aug 27, 2000
[Mew nods and delivers the treaty]

I guess that makes my goo discovery still useless...

Garius Lupus Posted Aug 28, 2000
*The Dungeon Master looks disappointed at the facility with which the ice wall problem was solved. He looks at the treaty, then at the group on the far side of the ice wall. He puts the treaty down on his desk, but makes no motion to sign it. Then he grins, crooks his finger at the group to motion them to his side, crosses his arms and waits.*
Looks like he wants us to solve the wall problem. Irv's goo seems to melt it. Now we just have to figure out how to use it to breach the wall. Wonder if a yak might be somehow useful ...
*GL paces back and forth, thinking. Suddenly he stops. Has he solved it? Does he have an idea? He looks down at his feet with a disgusted look on his face.*
I thought these yaks were house trained.

[YK] You know, there is a saying: "Like a lightsaber through ice".
[YK's lightsaber cuts through the ice like, uh, a lightsaber through ice. The ice wall collapses and knocks YK, uh, cold ]

HAHAHAHAHA! You may be able to get the treaty signed, but you won't get off the planet!
[Y2K knocks the Master Sword out of Link's hand. With a devilish grin, he points his lightsaber directly at Link.]
