I still accidentely write some English words with cpital letters, but most of the time I notice it immediately.
But I always want to write Ich (with capital I) when writing an e-mail.

*coughs and generally looks for sympathy*
Okay I PROMISE I'll get all the new members up on the lists eventually. I've been ill for quite a while so have been very slow with everything I'm supposed to be doing. Sorry about that.
Welcome everyone who's new! Taravon will take good care of you I promise, she's a very lovely person.

OI OI!!!
*Kat rears up*
Everyone shoo out of this thread! If you want to exchange pleasantries than into the Speaking Thread with you please.
I'll be Kat, your host and boss-thingy. Please remember to post a translation of anything you say in German directly below what you have written, for <./>houserules</.> and so that we can always know what you mean.
Teaching is done in the Beginners' Thread. Feel free to request lessons, use it as a place to practise anything, ask questions etc etc.
Also, considering your above post, please try to keep to proper English, no text speak, etc etc. This is so that everyone understands what you are saying, regardless of their abilities...and because it annoys me
Enjoy your stay
Kat

Hussshhh!
Yes that's all you need ben. Welcome, I'm Kat your host and bossy person thing. If you go and introduce yourself in the learning thread then that will probably be the place for you. You can use it for conversation, requests for teaching, testing out of anything you're unsure of...basically anything you feel like. If you feel confident enough you can have a go in the Speaking thread. There's also a game going on where you have to write a word related to the previous one
eg
first post:
cat
second post:
claws
If you have any questions don't hesitate to ask.
The head of the German Department, Taravon, will probably want your gender and age because she's like that You don't have to of course and can claim to be anything you like...
Kat
