PRESIDENT GRAVIS: Citizens of Arras, I bring grave news. It has just been announced that the New Republic is at war with the Kamino System.

I have just come from an emergency session of the Council, convened to decide what our position will be in the coming conflict. Your Council has unanimously recommended that the Arras System will remain neutral in this matter.

We will continue to monitor the situation between the New Republic and Kamino.

Meanwhile, I have placed the Space and Planetary Police Forces on the highest state of alert. This may cause some inconvenience to you as higher levels of security checks will be enforced. We ask for your co-operation with these measures - they are in place for the protection of all of us.

*a hovertruck drives into the city and drive into the comerical area, stopping outside an electical supplier, Jo'tra jumps out*

*walks into the store*

* 10 minutes later, the truck is laoded up and the truck is heading for the shop Ancha told him to go to*

*he stops outside the address and goes in*

Jo'tra: hi, I was asked to pick up a medical scanner by Ancha Theri

*a guy reaches under the desk handing him the scanner*

Jo'tra: Thanks

Guy: no problem

*Jo'tra straps the scanner in the seat next to him and drives off*

*Lorelei seemingly wanders through the city,but is really heading to the bank*

*takes 1000 credits out of her account at cashpoint;hides the money on her person in only a place a bad guy in a dark alley would look*

*heads back to the space-port*

*Ma'rol and the castellans enter wearing the common robes, and go into several stores, buying lots of speed boosting stimulants, and all the other materials and equipment he needs to make the armour. They all head back to the ship*

*Police report back*

*The Captain’s report arrives at the Council Chamber. It is read by the Council Secretary, who reports to President Jerath Gravis.*

*An emergency meeting of the Council is convened and, after much debate, it is agreed that the President will address the planet.*

*All communications systems on the planet are interrupted for a Presidential Address.*

GRAVIS : Citizens of Arras, I have to inform you of a grave breach of planetary security. The identity of the perpetrators of this breach has not yet been confirmed, but initial investigations point to the ringleader being none other than Ambassador Ma’rol Mannen.

As you are aware, Mannen is at the centre of the current conflict between the Republic and Kamino.

Since Mannen’s visit here was carried out covertly, we can only assume that he has some plan to bring part of his war to our planet.

Therefore, I am left with no option but to call the planet to its highest state of readiness and to initiate the first phase of Operation Evac.

We must hope that nothing more will come of this, but we must be prepared. You all know what you must do.

Be ready, be vigilant.

And report anything that does not seem right.
