Oh, I bet I know. The robot that worked in there must've needed some repairs, so he would've just come into this room to borrow parts from machines that were already in disrepair. It's probably safe.

Why is it so dark? And what's a Tribble?

A tribble is a creature from Star Trek, it is irresistably, infinitely adorable unless you are a Klingon. But don't worry, if you find yourself compelled to cuddle, just keep your eyes on Zeppo. He's also irresistably cute, and he'll lead you to safety. At least, I think he will. He's never faced a tribble, especially not a mutant tribble.

[Protoman activates the Joo-Janta 200 OmniPeril Sunglasses feature in his shades in the hopes that they will go opaque when they arrive at the Tribble, and sets his ProtoBuster to "stun organic life". He then sends a tightbeam transmission to Dr. Light, telling him to shut off Roll if her Cute-registers go off the scale.]

[Protoman] I'll be the safety catch. If you guys zilch out, I'll ... stun you, then take you to safety.

[Protoman] Ack -- can't see! Wait ... I have my non-visual sensors. Activating radar. [glances at the tribble] Good -- it doesn't look quite so cute in the light of a radio wave.

Thanks for helping out, Styx. You're sure a sight for sore eyes. Did you see the keeperbot while...oh, here it comes now. It does look like it took some damage...I don't remember it being quite that shape, or having a custard-thrower either. Um, I suggest everyone HIT THE DECK!!!!!

*Affy jumps behind a large box. Unfortunately, this being a zoo, the box is only half there. He jumps behind a fairly substantial crate marked "Allodile Munchies" and looks at the suspiciously familiar android*

That's not the way we designed the keeper bot....

*A great glob of yellow custard splats onto the crate*

*climbs up a tribble and perches on its shoulder, which is quite near the ceiling*

[Protoman] [deactivating Peril-Sensitive Sunglasses mode] I think I can handle this!

[He leaps towards the new Montressor, charging up his ProtoBuster. He fires, with no effect.]

[Protoman] Uh ... oh right. It was set to stun. [gets knocked back by custard]

*Shouting over the noise of the firing custard*

Just so you know, Protoman, it's not technically a *new* Montressor!

*Affy hopes that Zeppo will fetch the cord without receiving a blast from the Custard launcher*

/* Zeppo runs in the direction where Titania is pointing, takes one look at the electrical cord (he knows better ), and passes it by. He instead grabs a push broom, but the 5 ft. handle is too big for him to manage successfully. The tip of the handle lodges in the Montressor's optic-sensor socket, while Zeppo struggles to get the broom end back to Titania.

A loop in the power cord catches on the broom. The Montressor, enraged by the broom in the eye, takes aim at Zeppo with a double-custard. The broom is too much for Zeppo, but it is only inches away from Titania's still pointing hand. */

*Affy sees Zeppo in imminant danger of being splattered with custard. He quickly opens the "Allodile Chow" crate, and pulls out a pellet. Due to the extreme jaw-strength that Allodile's have, the pellet turns out to be extremely large. Affy takes careful aim and hurls it toward's the barrel of the custard launcher, hoping that the absence of one eye and the Zeppo distraction will be enough to totally distract Montrobot-Gamma*

If my calculations are correct, the pressure that the custard launcher gives off due to the blocked barrel should be enough to give us a little edge....

[Protoman gets up and starts swearing. He teleports away.]
