Makes me wonder whatever happened to Violets. *feels something staring at the back of her neck -- turns and sees the Great Creswell*

*Glances down the dangerous plant aisle, just in time to see a triffid rounding the far corner into the aisle. GL is about to bolt when something about the triffid begins to look familiar. GL stares at the advancing triffid. Just as the triffid comes within range and is winding up with it's stinger, it abruptly stops. There is a momentary pause, then GL grins and the triffid clicks happily and they both appoach each other.*

Ranger Triff? So this is where you got to after the foop.

*Ranger Triff lashes out with his stinger and zaps an acid slime that was creeping towards GL.*

Thanks, Triff. You know, if I knew it was you down here, I would have put in for a bigger salary for you.

*Turns around to continue, only to see his progress blocked by Gort*

G'ah! That looks creepy...

*sets her nanogun to Weed-Away*

*reaches into the pocket-of-destiny, hoping to find weed killer. hopes she doesn't run into the plant from Little Shop of Horrors*

*Ampton enters a "conversation" with Gort, and hands a report to Affy*

Okay, um....it seems that if we continue in this direction, we'll meet a horrible, terrible fate. It seems that The Terminator crossed paths with The Blade Runner again. We'll have to head through the comedy section.

*Glances at an ominous looking aisle*

Oh no. I don't think I could survive Galaxy Quest...

More than Galaxy Quest, I'm afraid. Galaxy Quest characters can be conquered through a use of classic sci-fi cliches. But my comedy collection is very extensive. Most of the movies in the various categories here are in multiple categories, and comedy is possibly the largest section in here. To give you an idea, I even keep Plan 9 From Outer Space in my comedy section, and it's not even part of my MST3K collection.

*Ranger Triff offers to accompany the group to the exit. He clicks something at GL, then shambles ahead into the comedy aisle.*

Okay, Triff said that as long as we don't laugh, we should be okay.

*follows Ranger Triff, trying to think mournful thoughts*

*thinks: Margaret Thatcher naked on a cold day!*



*then realizes that this particular thought isn't supposed to supress laughter, but something else*



*instead thinks about carrot top. there's just nothing funny about carrot top*

*Lil's mournful thoughts have suddenly made her think of A Comedy of Terrors with Vincent Price, Peter Lorre, Basil Rathbone and Boris Karloff, and she doubles over trying to suppress a burst of mirth*

*she then turns her thoughts to the recent presidential election and sobers up immediately*

*looks at the others' sober faces and begins to wonder if somebody died*
