*He 9uts his head down and shuffles his feet a bit before bringing the cart foreward.*

*With a thud, the eagle corpse hits the deck. Tobias removes his knife, wipes it off, and carries on walking*

[Ecg Unagi]: (To Blake) : "You and Elwyn both know more than me. I'll probably have to look onto you two for advice from now on."

*He doesn't sigh but does seem a bit distant. Running into his father again brought out a side less often glimpsed into.*

"Um, so... another real battle then it is? I doubt it will be as easy as the orc battle in Kalsho had been."

(To Alicia) : ~Ma'am... I think I may have an idea... it's probably not such a good one, and probably somewhat risky but... could the Dark Alliance force(s) be tricked into entering a gate to hell and then having it seal behind them? If they thought they were routing us, but then at the last minute we changed direction; I don't know, what would you say on it? I was just - wondering.~

*From where he is standing Ecg shrugs a bit*

~The Aliance have necromancers too... I'm sure they would know a gate when they saw one... and would be able to escape again... if only it were that simple I would have sent them to hell when they killed my first husband...~

*suddenly an arrow whistles through the air and hits a small grassy patch just ahead of them, this is then followed by three more arrows*

Ecg, where is Elwyn? *he manages to ask before the arrows started flying at them, which causes him to dive behind the nearest non-living object, being a tree (living to him means able to feel pain)

[Ecg]: "I don't know Blake, I..."
*Ecg casts a flame aura and the air immediately nearby him begins to smoke*

"...haven't seen her since before I left for the mountain or my dad showed up I think. Speaking of which, I think he was left over at the castle. Looking for something. Some sort of a talisman or something. If he could set loose some demons I think maybe our odds might be a little different. That's just my"

*ducks*
"Opinion though."

(To Alicia) : ~What about monsters then? They probably have zombies, but if there was something that didn't mind eating things that were dead, and if it was big... I don't know any, it's not my specialty.~

*Picks up a broken arrow and recognizes it*
"Blasted orcs."

*Sarah falls back behind a tree as the arrow start to fly around them.*
"Damn...were did they come from" She wispers to her self. "Hey guys...were are our archers...I think this might be a good time for them" She say to the others.

*closes her eyes and a faint blueish glow surrounds her, the earth around them starts to tremble until a small hill seems to climb in hight to roughly the size of a mountain... a mountain that is with arms and legs....*

*Had been standing from whence the golem came. Is now clinging to a small tree coming from its head*

Oh, wow. Thanks for that. Just swell. Now I'm on top of the biggest target on the field, and I'm not fully chainmailed. Great...

*Pulls himself up, and leans against the tree, which is stuck fast into the golem's head. He uses it to prop himself up as he wrestles his big sword out of its back-strap, as he is using his back to hold himself up, which is why its difficult... I digress. He gets his sword out, and holds it up to fend off arrows*

*dives behind a group of trees as the arrows fly past*

*Sarah looks up in awe at the Golum then remembers whats going on as a arrow enbeds its self in the tree near her head.*
"Crap." *She cursed to her self as she moved again.*

Blake formed a bow of earth, and arrows of fire, and started launching them towards where the arrows were coming from.

[Ecg Unagi]: ~A nice one Ma'am; (as an aside): I wonder if my dad went wandering around again looking for that hellfist guantlet thing he's always been talking about.~

*Ecg throws a metal ball up in the air from the cart and calls lightning*

"Huh..."

*He tries it again and lobs it the third time towards the edge of a nearby group approaching nearer.*

*Casts lightning... with a satisfied expression on his face*

"I think they don't like fire... remember reading it somewhere perhaps."

*Does it again*

*crawls further into the undergrowth as the arrows fly past*

don't we have archers too? and if so where are they?

[Ecg Unagi]: "Who needs armor, arms (he means like weapons/armaments)? We could use the cart as a temporary shield."

*He throws his fists down and raises up a mound of dirt in front of the cart so that it is between himself and a small troop of orcs. Ecg sweats and takes a swig of water from a drink skin he'd brought with him*

*Catches an arrow on his left-arm bracer. Throws a knife, which hits an enemy archer between the eyes. He then jumps, doing a little somersault, and draws the two longswords at his sides from their sheaths. He stabs them into the side of the golem as he falls to the ground, slowing his descent. He reaches the ground, takes a deep breath, and charges towards the enemy soldiers, with his earth-covered swords flailing through the air, closely following the charge of the golem. He begins hacking at the attacking forces. The cut-marks on the golem fill in with what appears to be liquid mud, which solidifies, sealing the wounds and leaving the golem as-new*

*Sarah continued to avoid the arrows.* "I feel so useless...Im no go unless we are fighting hand to hand at the moment."

Which is why I'm glad I'm here. *blake says, taking out one archer after another with fire arrows.

*Ecg has a determined look on his face*

"I'm doing it, back when I had entered the guild people had told me not too, I'd get in trouble for it and it caused a mess... but here goes."

*He forms some ice hatchets and chucks them over the top of the mound to the other side of it.*

"Blake, maybe we can wash some of them away like we did those bandits... but with lava? I've never tried lava."

*pulls a dagger from its sheath and begins crawling towards the sounds of combat*
