I think we are a little out numbered....

*several figures in dark capes appear from the other side of a hill...*

I think they were expecting us....

*the recently fallen archers get back up as zombie archers*

guys... they have a necromancer on the battleground...

"Take out the guys in black. Now. No lava. Just some pure.." he said, stepping out from behind the tree, his fire aura building "ELEMENT!" he said, launching it at the black cloaks.

*Sarah looked at the dark cloaked figuers and sighs.* "Crap"

*Comes out of the shadows behind the black cloaked figures. The ends of two swords erupt from two figures. Nuge jumps over them and flees back to the defensive line*

~~can anyone turn those archers into human torches by any chance?~~

[Ecg Unagi]: *Climbs to the top of the mound*
"Fine then. I'll try."
*Ecg thrusts palm strikes, not actually to hit anything but fireballs launch out of his hands*

~Crap, I need to work on my aim. Well, maybe I can try to make up for it in volume~

*3-5 each time in rapid succession now*

Thinks: Gotta pace myself.

"Hoo- yeah, this is very fun."
*He changes which direction he is facing every so often but doesn't shoot behind the cart since that's where the supplies he brought are*

"Now, how about doubletime?(!)"
*5-7 each strike, three or four times with each hand*

Not very big fireballs, but just alot of kind of little ones

*Kraken's parrot flaps lazily by dropping shadowfeathers then suddenly lands and perches down on a peg/runner to the cart*

*It ruffles its wings annoyedly*

There, that's the most I can pull off right now without further cluttering much more stuff that's been gunked. Damn, 3 places at once. That was an interesting challenge. Thanks. Sorry, I keep making sure to have stuff be shorter each time but it's probably one of those ongoing upkeep kinds of things.

*the black cloaked people seem oblivious to any damage they have taken, they are probably being controlled somewhere else...*

come on we have to kill these ones so we can make a sweep towards Yurick
before they manage to get the main force moving....

"UP!!!"

*Ecg jumps off the mound and pounds the ground with two fists making a jet of lava spurt into one of the cloaked figures*

Are they drow?

<they are lesser drow, mere pawns in the scheme of things*

*as one of the figures drops to the ground the others seem to be moved to action*
*one of them moves towards Ecg and draws a scimitar*

Drow: Ah.... Magicians, how nice to see you
*the drow moves till the distance between them is less than three feet*

: Oh.

[Ecg Unagi]: "Be glad you can see."
*He stomps a foot and mud flings up to create a distraction*
"In a moment you can't!"

*He makes a lava-sword*

Lavasword , thing. There. Maybe I should leave off here and let the others get to it so they can catch up, huh?

*the drow laughs and casts a spell, suddenly there are around seven skeletons surrounding Ecg in various stages of decomposition*

Thanks, or I can deal with that. He's only an apprentice still, so having him power his way through multiple drow would be ridiculous.

[Ecg]: (Boasting) : "I am not scared of death. Death should be scared of me."

*The Lavasword surges as he does his best to embed it into one of the skeletons' ribcages and struggles to remove it once in*

Oh wow. Icredible! etc. As for the relocating... I had three demonic lackeys named Redclaw, Greenbeak and Bluehorns organize Kraken's cache of lesser demons and they are going through sorting out the stragglers and carrying his things away. There are some refugees who wouldn't leave the town without threat of being eaten along with said monsters, and the lot of them are over at the Just Outside thread, just as a btw

Good. I didn't wanna unravel anything so I just thought I'd sorta let you guys know... just in case

[Ecg]: "Ungh...!"

*It's taxing him a little but he makes more lava weapons and stabs those into another skeletal warrior. He lets them cool and harden into stone without bothering to tear the weapons back out*

"A little help...?"

*Continues struggling*

*Runs to Ecg's aid, lopping the head off of a skeleton. The skeleton continues regardless, flailing wildly, unable to see. Nuge strikes its legs, and it falls over. Once on the ground its legs begin kicking independently from its body. Nuge turns and sees a drow jerking its hands as if controlling a marionette. He lunges at it, and begins swiping ineffectually at its black cloaked figure*

It's like its made of mist! I can't get a solid hit!

*Sarah also sees the skeletons suround Ecg and goes over to help, willing the end of her staff to form a blade at the end as she did. She went to ram the blade into the nearest skeleton, when she noticed the trouble Nage was having with his skeleton.*

"Well this is interasting." She said as she slashed to the skeleton any way. "We cant kill the cloaked guys over their skeletons...this is a nice start." She said sarcasticly.

*runs out from cover and joins the group attacking the skeletons*

*throws his dagger at one of the dark cloaked figures but as with Nuge's blades it passes straight through*

hmmm...interesting!

has anyone encountered such as these before?
