whats the state of play?

*Lumien, in her haste having passed a series of magicians without really noticing, is in the Kalsho outpost home stretch. Her path puts her right between the oncoming army and the outpost. She nearly retches at the smell, and looks behind her.*

SOD!!!

*She pushes Corela, now in a near panic, toward the small door indicated by Chandra.*

*Elandra watches carefully, making sure Lumien is alright...she fingers her bow just in case*

Alicia...we are still waiting for the other magicians to arrive but they army is fast approaching...

*Lumien remembers her training, and casts a shielding spell behind her. She rides the rest of the way to the small door.*

havent fought for a while,
do hope i'm not loosing my touch...
*touches the handles of her bells then looks up smileing slightly*

*Lone Wolf appears at the gates, not quite running but moving at a fair pace, though he does not seem out of breath*
*Looks around the outpost noting the defenses*

*shakes her head* Once in the battle the skills will return as if you have been using them every day...though after this, you should keep in practise more. Confidence is essential.

*Lumien can enter, as the door is open, for now*

*The High Lord looks at the orcs coming closer and closer.*


We will need to stay strong on this one, take out the ladders before they can get close enough. 5000 orcs is still a good number to fight against. They maybe even able to get inside the outpost. We must be prepared.

The soldiers will be informed to take out the ladders, that's a priority.

*runs to the front gate*

*Lumien runs, nearly out of breath, to the collection of Elders and High Council Members gathered behind the gate.*

M'lords *pant*, m'ladies, *pant*, what are your orders?

My Lady, the skirmishing force will help eliminate the Drow's body guard and we should Illuminate the the Shadow Elves on the idiocy of the attack

*Wolf allows a sly smile to cross his face at the pun*

*smiles, showing a little of her relief*

As I said, Kalsho is being attacked. They have ladders, as well as the two Drow Magicians...the other members of the Guild are still making their way here.

I could give us more... erm.... men...
but I am hesetent to do that for now,
I would rather not run the risk of them turning against me...

*frowns slightly*

They would, in all probability, be at the back of the force...or at least in the middle. I do not see how we would get us, and ten skirmishers, to them.

I have Ninian my phoenix...his reflexes are /fast/; in the battle of Imardin he dodged arrows and spells whilst flying...however I doubt that we would be able to make much of a difference without such a force.

*turns to the High Lord* My lord, what do you think?
