*Lumien rides up, looking fairly bedraggled.*

*one of the wolves dissapears into the trees. A few minutes later Wolf steps out from the trees, hiding from the growing light of dawn beneath his cloak*

Lady Swift, I appologise if you felt I was hiding my Lycanthropy from you. It is a famelial trait. The Von Altwelts are one of the old warewolf families. I guess I thought if anyone was interested they would look it up. However I must leave you now, and I think Konrad may want to come too, after all if there is a chance to see Guen again...

*at the sound of his friends name Konrad bounds away from Lumien and over to Wolf*

*Lumien waves goodbye to Wolf and Konrad, as she waits patiently for the gate to open.*

*Wolf dissappears into the trees*

*a short time later in the forest*

*wolf's words are cut off when an arrow, missing it's head, streaks towards Wolf's chest...*

*Wolf snatches it from the air just as it reaches him*

*Lumien doesn't hear Wolf, but she gets a funny feeling. Chandra, arrows from the battle in her talons, swoops down to deliver them back to Lumien.*

Ah! Chandra!

*Lumien holds out her hand, in which Chandra deposits the arrows.*

I'd like you to go follow Lord Wolf and Konrad. And take one of these. *Hands her back a single arrow, elvish made.* It should keep him out of trouble with certain folk around here.

Oh, and if he does get into trouble, come and find me. I'd like a chance to pay him back for helping me in the last battle.

*Chandra gives Lumien a slight, hawkish nod, takes the arrow in her talons, and flies high into the morning sky. Lumien waits for the gate to open.*

*Lumien, still waiting for the gates to open, sees Chandra fly back, sans arrow. She holds out her wrist for the hawk to land on.*

Chandra! Is everything all right?

Well, I'm glad he's safe. *stifles a yawn* It's been a long night. You had better get some rest.

*Chandra tucks her head under her wing, and slowly fades from sight. Lumien drops her hand, and tries to hail the guard again.*

I need entrance to Kalsho! Please open the gates!

[guard] Oh yes milady, sorry for the delay! *the gates are opened for her*

*rides through*

I need someone to send a message to all outposts. I ran into a party of orcs on Imardin-Kalsho road. I fear the Dark Alliance might be planning an attack. Imardin should know by now, but we need to alert everyone. Can you do that?

*they close the gates after her*

[guard] Hmm, you should talk to the commaning officer about that but I'm sure it will be possible...

Great! Where can I find them?

[guard] The captain should be in the commanders office, milady *bows*

*Wolf waks out of the forest, his face hidden by his cloak, and is followed by Konrad. Wolf bangs a gloved hand on the gate*

Guard, open up

*Corela whickers, in such a way to suggest she's exhausted.*

Right. First to the stables for you, then to the commanders office!

*rides to the stables.*

*bangs on the gat even harder*

Hoi, guard!! Are you asleep or something? Open this gat right now!!!!!!!

*the guard looks irritated until he sees who it is*

[guard] deepest apologies, mi'lord! *opens the gate hurriedly*

*enters through the now open gate*

Thank you, is the Lady Swift here? If so I should like to know where I might find her. I would also like a room, with either no windows or shutters for the windows, in which to rest

[guard] I think she went to consult the Captain in his office....and as to accomodation, there are barracks, I am not sure what the magicians rooms are like, m'lord.
