h2g2 The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: Earth Edition

*deep forests, filled with life, crowd the outpost on one side. There is both rare and common flora and fauna to be found here.*

*takes out a little guide book and begins to hunt for magic ingredients*

I, Polonius Franc, do believe that I have discovered a pegasus nest! It's rather large and situated in a tree that is rather short and fat, like a bowl being held in a fat hand.

*climbs the tree and finds many feathers*

*takes feathers*

*also finds sleeping baby pegasus*

*is really quiet and puts the baby pegasus in a bag, still sleeping*

*climbs down from tree*

*as I climb down, a flapping is heard in the trees. Suddenly, I am beset upon by a flock/herd of winged horses, demanging that I release the infant. I do so, and then run for my life deep into the woods.*

*The beasts pick up the infant, and persue no further. There sound of wings stop beating as they go farther into the forest.*

*I notice that the horses have stop their persuit. However, I am now rather deep in the woods*

*it takes me a whole day to get out of the woods*

*rides to the edge of the forrest and dismounts*

you must be brave

*pats the horse and starts his ventures into the forests*

*after walkingfor a while* hoooooooooooooooowl

I wonder were they are

*spots some deer tracks and starts following them hoping his pack are following the same ones*

*there is a rustling in the undergrowth*

*brings his katana to his hand*

*stops the horse and stands deadly still*

**there is another rustle, and a low growl*

*growls pack*

are you a member of Lycan's pack?

*joining the first creature's growling is another then a third...after a moment all three turn to excited yipping*

*a large female wolf shoots out of the undergrowth and yips at Lycan*

*kneels down and puts his weapons on the floor*

I'm glad to see you

*the she-wolf howls, and other wolves poke their heads out of the undergrowth, looking pleased*

*the she-wolf yips and looks at Lycan*

Thena? is that you?

*crawls towards her*

She-wolf: [You don't recognise me, Lycan? You were here just weeks ago.] *she yips*

*morphs into a large white wolf*

[aren't as good as my wolf ones]
