*a large series of rooms which house the soldiers of the Outpost. Separate from the soldiers barracks is the Magicians barracks, where any Magicians that stay at the outpost will sleep.*

*Wanders in, seriously in need of rest.*

*Walks in the direction the soldier points.*

Hoi, soldier, I'm in need of a room, preferably one with no windows, but failing that one with shutters for the windows

*Lumien reaches one of the doors down the hall. She doesn't really look at the surroundings, but sees the bed and smiles. She drops her saddlebag on the floor as the door closes, and sits down on the bed to remove her boots.*

[soldier]Down their m'lord...is your quarters...

*wanders down the coridoor, Konrad following. As he aproaches Lumien's room, he slows. Sniffing untill he finds the right door he knocks on the door and talks to her through it*

Err, Lady Swift? If and when you want to leave, come and let me know, I'm just down the coridoor.

*continues to his room, where he closes the shutters on the one, small, window*

hmm, not bad, not bad.

*lays down on his bed, his cloak wrapped around him. The bed noticably shifts as Konrad climbs up onto it and curls up at his feet*

*A noise like soft snoring comes from Lady Lumien's room.*

*The next morning, Lumien wakes up, and stretches.*

Hmm... actually slept in a bed last night...

*She gets up, and starts to prepare her things to go out in the forest, throwing in a small pack a canteen, a length of rope, a few bandages, and some notes she made from the books in Imardin. She includes a small glass jar to keep the cuttings in, and the small comb from her larger saddlebag. She grabs her weapons, and walks out toward the front gate.*

*As she passes Lord Wolf's room, she listens at the door.*

No sound of awake life, anyway. I'll talk to him after I get back.

*Leaves for the front gates.*

*Lumien walks in from the front gate, and knocks lightly on Lord Wolf's door.*

Lord Wolf? Are you still there?

*loud crashes, bangs, scufling noises and grunting can be heard from inside the room*

Huh..wha...who..whe...

*the door opens slightly and two heads poke round it, neither of them look very good, what with their hair being all messy and their eyes half closed*

oh, err, Lady Swift, umm did you want something?

Did I wake you?

I just wanted to let you know that I got what I came for, and I was going to start back to Imardin soon. Care to accompany me?

No, no, you didn't wake me, I've been up for ages

*yawns*

an yes, of course I'll acompany you, I've just got to get my things together then Konrad and I'll join you in the main courtyard

*Turns and goes to get her things from her quarters. Passes by a minute later with her saddlebag on the way to the stables.*

*Wolf collects his things together and he and Konrad head for the main courtyard and the front gate*

*walks through the barracks and carefully draws a small symbol on the well behind a shelf of books*

*a gard walks in*
[guard] Halt!

*straghtens up*
what is it now?

[guard] what are you doing there?

well i'm drawing a mystic symbol on the wall and then i am going to continue on my pilgramage...

[guard] what do you mean necromancer? drawing on the wall?

well you see, if you would prefer some undead to walk along here... I mean i hear the allience are very happy to use the undead these days...

[guard] are you saying the symbols ment to keep them out

not only out dear fellow, but dead, then again it only works on the lessor dead, anything more powerful than an animated corps and you will need to call in a necromancer.

[guard] right... well i guess i will let it pass this time... since your the high necromancer and all.

well remember always to burn your dead and that way they cant come back

[guard] i think its best that you leave now Lady necromancer...

oh dont worry...
*stands and streches then leaves the barracks*

*The commander walks in with Alicia and Lycan*
