*Lumien kneels on the branch again, digs in her pack, and pulls out a sealable glass jar- the old style, with the wax around the lid. She removes the lid, fills the jar about halfway with water from her canteen, and sets it on the branch next to her knee. Next, she takes her knife from its holster, and cuts one of the hardier plants off the trunk of the tree. She places it in the jar, and repeats the process on a few different branches, so to lessen her impact in the one area on the tree. When finished, she seals the jar, places it in her pack, and jumps to the ground.*

*Lumien begins to walk in the direction of the outpost.*

*a dark cloud passes overhead*

*the affore mentioned cloud rises over the wall of the outpost and enters tha forest, where it coalesces into Wolf*

Elf are you here? I had to sneak out so I need a weapon... Elf?

*A scout for Outpost Kalsho, is looking from atops the trees. He notices that hte Dark Alliance has moved into position and at any second an attack will sound and the orcs will charge.*


*The drows in the center of the mob flick their wrist telling the orcs to charge.*


*The scout nocts an arrow and lights it on fire. He fires it up into the sky allowing the Magicians time to cast the spells before they hit.*

*Elsewhere in the forest, Lumien is moving like a wraith through the treetops.*

*Lumien reaches a point in the forest where she can have a clear shot at the army without being seen.*

Good... they haven't hit the outpost yet.

*She draws her bow, nocks an elvish arrow, and waits for one of the Drow to get in range.*

*45 Archers climb the trees, they all split into different trees. All of them noct arrows, preparing to fire on the High Lords Command.*

*a Bow and quiver lands at Wolf's feet and a voice from the trees says...*

[Voice] Good luck friend, afterward I'll show you that route, at the moment your friends are making a racket trying to make those twoo drow into pin coushins...

*Wolf moves through the forrest back towards the archers and silently climbs the tree Lumien waits in*

*Lumien looks behind her.*

I'm sorry, Lord Wolf, but it isn't much safer in the outpost either. Look.

*Points toward the attacking orcs.*

He's probably better off here, where he can at least hide.

*One of the drows peer over at the forest.*


[Drow1]Did you hear something?


[Drow2]You mean you just now, and the 5000 crazy orcs screaming their battle cries...well then yes...anything different then no...

*moves stealthily through the forest until she finds Wolf and Lumien*

*greets them and the archers, then notches an innocuous-looking arrow into her longbow*

Do not fire yet...

*Wolf notches on of the arrows in the bow he was 'provided'*

*Lumien has been watching Lord Polonius's attempts at the Drow with the charms and bolas.*

This is going to be tough...

*enters the forest silently*

*she climbs a tree easily using her one arm to hold the branches and her strong legs to haul her up*

*she sits in between the leaves and watches the action below her*

*casts a masking/hiding/cloaking, call it what you will, spell on the arrow, takes aim at one of the drow, adjusts for wind and movement and fires*

*hisses* not yet! Wait til I give the order!

*several hundred yards away a similar arrow shoots out from the trees, aiming for the Drow's Body Guard*
