*Frantically tries to pinwheel himself out-of-the-way, to avoid getting skewered*

"Ow. That isn't funny."
*Temporarily forgets his pain from the fall, and gets up to deliver a fast-sweep kick-in return*
"..." .

"You're just jealous that I already knew 1 or 2 of the six-secret high level Shinkage-school sword techniques, aren't you?!"

*Starts throwing another volley of quick snapping-punches, with both arms*

*Notices that his master came back in, and struggles against the wind, usuing some of his own power to get through* "You just had to pull out the sleet, did you, my dear teacher!" I say, coming up behind her, using more power to deflect the stinging sleet "How green are they? I will gladly take one for you."

"Oh,-so now it's 5 on-one, this keeps just-getting better-and-better." Ecg practically spits. They can't see it but perhaps he is spitting a bit of trickling blood.
*Abruptly sidesteps away from Thurin to pick up the longdagger and halberd*
"Well fine then,- I must warn you folks though... I do know a bit more,- you'll find... then it would seem that I did."
*Winks at Thurin, Tom & Shaylar*

[Ecg Unagi]: *The former-samurai is furious at the idea of being ganged up upon,-as though he were an "near-honorless ninja"*

"This hand of mine,-it glows with an awesome power...
It's burning grip tells me I must defeat you...[yes, all of you-or at least try]"

*You'll notice that despite the lacquered bits-of-carapace, there is an actual part of light seeming to trace out the design of-the tatoo on Ecg's arm... over his arm-piece, until the symbol really does seem to be illuminated*

"YeAAAaaaH! That's right... [substitute Shining finger for] Crystal Punch!- " ~open-hand(ed technique).~

*Does crystal wave with both hands,-facing open-palmed* One is aimed at Lady Shaylar and the other at Lord Thurin.

*Due to the movements involved in Ecg's sequence... this causes the trick-panels on his armor to click and slide open... revealing an interestingly-different design on the revealed pieces*

*thurin twists, to allow the impact against his armour*

[Thurin] Why you arrogant little...

*thurin charges Ecg, his sword held slightly in front of him to parry any attacks from Ecg*

[Thurin] You realy do need it beaten into you

*crashing into Ecg Thurin uses his own momentum to shove him up against a wall. Where upon he procedes to smack Ecg's weapons away and lift the samurai off the ground*

[Thurin] Listen boy,

*thurin says the word like it's the worst insult he can think of*

[Thurin] You might think you're good, well I've news for you, you're not. You're a punk. Your armour is all very nice and fancy, but it's neither one thing nor the other. Against Drow their arrows would go straight through it and their almost complete lack of armour makes them much more nimble that you. More haevily armed opponents like myself or my knights can virtually ignore any attacks you make and use our size and weight against you. Against lightly armed oponents like archers you couldn't get close enough to do any damage where as against heavily armed opponents you could get close but do little damage.

*thurin shakes Ecg*

[Thurin] Do you get it yet? Do you? All your fancy equipment and skills now mean zip, nadda, nothing. You'd be better off with just a robe and learning to lift 200lbs with one arm. Then you could at least make a good bowman

*Ecg is standing there looking everyone in the eye with a -may-care eyed look of determinism.*

*breathes kind-of heavily*

"..."
*Pant, Gasp!*
*Draws his halberd and olds it out in front-of-him with both hands (so as to be at the ready)*

*Urk!* *drops halberd*

"Can-you... I can't raise my right-arm... (dented-in) faceplate... Can't-breathe!"
*gasp*

there is now definitely some blood trickling from the corner of his mouth.

*He lets go-of Thurin's arm,-which he had been gripping-dumbly... in the hopes of reversing the "lock."*

"Please..."

*His left-hand is shaking a bit*

*Ecg's eyeballs aren't rolling in contempt... they're just rolling as he starts to look about,- and realizes that there isn't any escape route.* *Other options... um, none. D@*n...*

"Lh-Lord Th-Thurin, Alright, al-right... I call-Uncle! Yes?!"

*makes another bit of a choking gasp,- as the blood trickles from the corner of his mouth a bit faster/harder and then gives those in front of him a blank-eyed almost vacant look of -not boredom-indifference- just an "Am I about-to-die?" sort of a look*

"Um, Uncle! Uncle!! I'm calling... ,"
*Coughs up some-more blood as he continues being shaken*
"No! Not my Uncle!! I mean -I Am, am-am t-t-trying to "Say Uncle!", ?"

*Thurin rips away Ecg's faceplate, releases him and in a much calmer tone continues*

[Thurin] You're a mage, an elementalist, yet you would use physical weapons to fight. Your equipment is all fine, so long as that's what everyone else is using. However around here it's not. Learn to use your magic to defend yourself, not gaudy armour. Until you can I sugest studying, practicing and trying to stay out of fights... Oh and there's nithing rong with a good solid oak staff either..so long as you know how to use it

*Phew!*

*Tries to staunch his wound a bit w/ a bit of something from a pouchkit*
", Is that the point-to the lesson (Eh-heh)?"

~You're going to laughingly shrug this all off someday-and call-me nephew,-aren't you?~

*Flinches a bit as though expecting a blow to the solar-plexus*

[Ecg Unagi]: *glowers for awhile, then sighs in his crosslegged heap... placing his head down & unties the clothstrip his hair was tied back with*

"... Okay, okay I get the idea that you people all-figure I'm not good at-it. But that's why I came here you know?"

*picks up his broken off bits of lacquered-carapace parts,- and place them all into a sack... to repair later,- ( yes) along with-his clothes (and shoes)*

[Thurin] The point to the lesson is that you are not a big man round here. Not yet anyway. Now I sugest you make a visit to the healing hall

"Yeah I do think... now that ya mention-it; say, how come you guys didn't just whup the crud-out-of me earlier... before? Um,...Why?!"

*slams down the faceplate so hard that the dent-in it reverses which side(surface) it is on* }Klunk-ita!{*

*Makes as though trying to rush at Thurin back,- then pulls back at the last second,- jumps back a tiny ways* and says,
"That was a pretty good attack pattern,-probably would've taken me a nearly-an hour to have seen it coming from across a long-field... totally struck when my guard was down too..."

*Shuts-up & bows, like someone is supposed to when they finish a sparring match* -Anyway.

[Ecg Unagi]: ", not to sound dumber-than-dirt,-but , where is this healing hall?"

*Scoops up his weapons, while he is at it... even though-the slight sprain in his worse arm is causing him to wince.*

*Thurin gives Ecg directions to the healing hall*
