not a single time *he says as he pulls out his longsword hiding the noise*

I am only good at talking to animals

~~Lycan, NOW!~~~

*the mage whuffs in confusion and throws Alicia backwards against the sewer wall, but as he's distracted Elandra jumps forward and attacks him with both of her longswords, glowing dimly in the blackness*

*lycan moves quickly forwards slashing at the mage with his longsword*

*the mage sends a bolt of sonic energy at Lycan but Elandra sends it off course with a kick to the arm*

*Lycan bring up this longsword accross where Elandra's kick reached*

~~~Lycan, rats!~~~

*the sonic energy blastts against the tunnel wall and it rumbles, and half-collapses in on itself*

*the mage jumps forward, dodging Lycan's blade, and the rocks that fall from the walls*

*Elandra, having relatively bad night-vision, gets hit by one of the rocks but then she leaps forward, dodging the others and slamming into the mage*

*dodges the rocks but they send him further from the mage*

*concentration covers his brow*

*the rats ears once again prick up and surround the mage in the water*

*the mage stumbled back with the force that Elandra slams into him, and he ignores the rats*

*having much better dark-vision than Elandra, he twists round her and punches her in the face, his fists bound with enchanted brass and leather that leaves her face stinging with some kind of acid or something*

*she grabs hold of him clothes and falls backwards, kicking him over her head*

*he flips her over him, she crashes against the wall then stands up again*

*the rats crawl up the mages legs before Lycan leaps at him like a wolf*

*as he leaps he pushes his blade out front*

*Elandra growls and uses one of the spells she can, sending a bolt of fire at the mage*

*at the same time, the mage sends a blast of kinetic, sonic and lightning energy at Lycan as he leaps at him*

*the fire spell mixes with the mages and they ricochet off, striking Lycan's sword and blasting the werewolf backwards through the tunnel, he hits the wall and the rocks that have fallen down wth enough force to make him unconscious*

*unconscious Lycan reverts to wolf form*

*the mage advances on Lycan, and Elandra spits at the mage*

*he turns and tries a mind-numbing spell on Elandra, but she shrugs it off easily, as she's strong-willed*

*he then disappears*

*Elandra, confused, turns to look behind her and the mage suddenly appears there*

*a split-second passes and suddenly all sorts of charms appear around her:

a ring of fire spell, creating a wall of fire that surrounds her,that immediately starts to shrink around her;
a poison-breath spell, making the air she breathes diseased;
and an ice charm, lowering the temperature around her dramatically*

*Elandra chokes and Alden appears behind the magician in a whoosh of air*

*Alden growls and attacks the mage, his concentration is lowered enough that the poisoned air clears, but not before that damage is done*

*the mage blasts Alden back to where Lycan is lying in wolf-form, then hits Elandra with an immobilisation spell*

*she is stuck in a mixture of fire and ice, and is suffering for it*

*he draws his sword and advances on her*

*Alicia draws her long sword and advances on the mage muttering a charm under her breath one of alicias... friends from the dead steps up*

dear dear...
what have we here...

*slashes the mage with her sword and the undead thing jumps fourth grasping at the mage... *

*the mage parries Alicia's sword and pushes it backwards with his own*

*he grabs the 'friend' with the other hand and throws it against the nearest wall*

*pushes forward against the mage and releses a venom spell, purple spores are relesed into the air.... *
*her dead "friend stops the spell from reaching her companions*

*the mage coughs, inhaling some of the spores before hewaves a hand and they conglomerate into a ball of venom that bursts into flames*

*he pushes Alicia back hard, drawing a dagger from his belt and slashing her arm with it*

*Elandra struggles against the spells keeping her in place - luckily the fire and ice spells counteract the shrinking affect of the fire, and make it just warm enough for her to survive...for now*

*there is now a deepish cut in Alicias arm and her robe seems to hang hevely... already soaking in blood*

*brakes away from the mage and hastely rings a bell, several low classed skelital figures appere*

*feets echo closer as lans rounds a corner then skidstops at the sight of the battle*

*Thoran drops down into the tunnels and starts to head towards the sounds of battle*

*the mage snarls at Alicia and quickly dispatches the relatively weak skeletal figures*

*Elandra nods at Lans weakly, the immobilisation spell slightly weaker what with the mage being distracted(

*the mage has not noticed him yet*
