*Kelman and Polonius are escorted by armed guard to the stocks in the centre of the market, and after their weapons (including wands) are confiscated, and their pockets emptied of any magical goodies, they are places into wooden stocks and locked there securely*
*a crowd forms around them*
[guard] These two connived their way into the palace, the late King's very palace, and were conspiring to abduct a noblechild. For this, for now, they have been placed in the stocks whilst the noblechild's father visits the guild about this...incident.
*the crowd mutters, and jeers at the two men*
*a market vendor reaches under his stall and brings out the refuse bucket, filled with rotten fruit, and starts selling it to people*
*they throw the rotten things at the two men*
