*Down a long flight of stairs lies the Admissions Chamber. A robot carrying a very dangerous looking device stands at attention next to a card issuing machine*

*Corrupt arrives, still grinning, just less evilly.*

*to robot* Hello there! I'll just wait for my comrades to catch up.

*arrives*

Hello Robot, who's a nice Robot then ?

*smiles engagingly*

*The robot hums to life! It sees Corrupt and raises the device it was holding. A long, thin needle emerges from the device and the robot menacingly approaches Corrupt, seemingly intent on jabbing her with it!*

*LibraGram flickers into existence to see what happens*

Ho ho ...... this looks interesting.

*remembers the stunt Corrupt pulled with Doberman in Merovingian's Chateau*

Oooo that needle looks very sharp and jabby

*walks in*

*sees manacing robot*



*points at robot*

What on earth is that thing?!

*Corrupt lets go of NYC's collar, having dragged him this far, and NYC falls to the floor. Rohe comes running up*

[Rohe] Are you alright, sir?

[NYC] Why didn't you do anything?

[Rohe] A-against HER, sir? I-I value my life...

[NYC] Forget it, jus--

*the robot makes a quick jab at NYC*

[NYC] Aaugh! What the heck is this?!

[Yar] [coming in behind them] Oh gods ...

I don't Have a library card because he stole it!!!

*points at NYC*

It's not my fault!!!

*Sticks hands into the air*

[NYC] Yeah, well, this ain't... East Paluckaville Branch Library? OW! *to robot* Watch where you point that thing!

It was worth a try...

*pulls out a pair of pliers*

Now, lets see what we can do to control this thing before it hurts us...

I wanted to see what it was going to do to Corrupt. But I suppose .....

*looks for something to sort out Robot with*

Just a little observation chaps, like, err, how do you know it has intent to harm, the needle jabby thingy might just be a probe to get information ? Before you try and break it as usual maybe we could conference you know ?

*arrives*

*Nods sagely in agreement, though it's unclear who he's agreeing with*

Isn't someones motto "Fight first, Ask questions later"?

Maybe we could temporarily use that now...

*hopefully*

You could always distract it by providing it with a target whilst we try to operate the card issuing machine

*pulls out a stick, and waves it at the general direction of the robot*

*throws stick out into the main lobby*

*readies himself to have a look at the ticket machine when the Robot moves*

[Yar holds back, but puts one hand near his lightsaber, just in case]

*Corrupt scowls at the robot*

No wonder this place has so few visitors if THIS is what they have to put up with! That's right, I'm talking to you! Now, we're each supposed to get a day pass to this fine institution. May I ask if it's your job to help us or to hinder us?
