You've approved many of my entries, accepted several of my picks and helped me as a writer and scout in many ways. You'll be missed - you helped h2g2 develop immensely!
I trust you'll have a very successful career. I'm sure I'll hear you on the radio over here some day

I'll be to see you, my fellow otternut, go, but I wish you all the success you so richly deserve Sam.

Sad to see you go old chap, but at the same time I wish you every sucess in all your future endeavours.
Remeber us peasants when you're rich and famous, eh?

I don't know if the problem is my end or h2g2 playing up because you're going , but I've eventually got here after being directed by links to the subtle art of flirting (and Fantomas rather than the London Stone)
in your other career. I appreciated your cheerfulness dealing with PR and scouting matters.

Thank you for helping make this such a great place to escape from RL for a bit. Although I don't think we ever spoke directly, have seen enough of your work to know you will do well in any endevour.
Keep in touch

Thank you very much everybody - much appreciated. Wow, last day at work - it feels like my last day at school. Maybe I should get everyone to sign my shirt. I'm treating it as my retirement. Anyway, thanks again!

Sam - what can we say? You are a legend and the office definitely won't be the same place without you. Still, I am very glad for you that you've decided to literally take the show out on the road. But I'm still a bit vexed. I'm not going to let that get in the way of this greeting though.
RESPECT and top three and we will miss you horribly,
Natalie

best of luck to you, sam!
just because you're leaving us don't think we wouldn't welcome you back for the occasional progress report.

hmmm, I was going to join the flood of well-wishers, but then I realised you've gone and mistitled a song that clearly should be called "Thing"...
Seriously, though for your part in the greatness of this place, and for the future...

"give those pop idols some stick"
Absolutely. I'm a near middle-aged old fart idol. It's time to reclaim the kingdom!

All the best for the future Sam
(Now all we need is a sort of 'riding into the sunset at the end of a western' effect...)
Stay ,
