Apparently next Wednesday on Tomorrows world they are looking a WAP technology and using dear old us as an example.

As for the second question you gave away some knowledge in trhe first question. Nice try though. smiley - smiley

Dear old WAP, nice idea, shame the current technology isn't really up to it. Once GPRS GSM services are moving it should be better but roll on UTMS.

Ah yes I remember TV's they're those boxes with moving pictures on them aren't they.

*Phil who doesn't own or want to own a TV smiley - winkeye*

Alton Towers!

I was thinking a more central location would be good for the next meet, and Alton Towers sounds like a great idea.smiley - smiley I'll start a forum for anyone who would be interested in meeting up at Alton Towers off the Addiction Clinic page, and place a few links to it as well (perhaps other addictees can do the same). If there's a large group, we should get a discount. Unless researchers think otherwise, we'll aim for the same date as the London meet (13th May?), and then we can all compare notes after the events!

More good news! There is now a real-time chat forum available off my homepage, so you can get those really urgent addiction cravings answered post haste!smiley - smiley Or use this link to it: http://www.bravenet.com/chat/show.php?usernum=644662587

I'll post the link to the Alton Towers forum back here too.

The Alton Towers Meet forum is at http://www.h2g2.com/forumframe.cgi?forum=26623&thread=47640 so if you can't make the London meet, but could manage Alton Towers, go along and add your name. smiley - smiley

And you can go to THIS FORUM:
ie, the one right here
if you are addicted and still want to talk about it.

Hi Pegasus! Haven't seen you around for a VERY long time!

I've been by, but don't always post! It's hard enough keeping up with the other forums, not to mention writing an occasional article, trying my hand at subbing, and occasionally doing some studying!smiley - winkeye

Have noticed that you still manage to put plenty of time in here though!smiley - winkeye I think it's time you were made honorary psycho.smiley - bigeyes

Erm... psychologist I mean.smiley - smiley Nice to talk to you again though.

PS You never did tell me where that Beatles shop is!

You go along Regents Street and you turn right down a lane. Erm, it's hard to describe as I don't know the road name. There's usually a guy or two with signs pointing at it, anyway.

And as for me, my solution is not to study. Not a good one, though. I've tried to keep the clinic alive, but it's not really what it once was anymore. Still, if I'm a psycho, we can get back to the old analysis!

So, what can you DO for an h2g2 addict? I now even occasionally log in from work!!

well, the trouble with my work browser is that it is not quite so compatible with h2g2 as my home browsers.

Mine seems to have a constant window open on h2g2. Just don't tell my bosses. smiley - winkeye

I have colour contention problems with h2g2... it starts to leach the colours from IDL and ghostview and then my plots start to look funny

fairly normal for any highly coloured website to do it a bit, but h2g2 blue is one of the worst.
