My wee article on Dangermouse is coming on fine too. In fact I've just added Hong Kong Phooey to the Superheroes page as well now.

I've just been reading about the Christmas meet in London, which was bowling at the Elephant then a pub in the Strand. Sounded like fun.

It was Great Fun.
Where have you been reading about it?
There wasn't anything bad about me there, was there?

Indeed it was. There are some photos of it around somewhere....
I've a link from my "who is Bluebottle" page off my homepage if you'd like to see....
The worst behaved was Shazz. She was terrible.

I am once again addicted. I tried to cut down a month or so ago, but just went cold turkey. So here I am.
We need a more northerly meet up, the London ones are too far away for me to go to. I think somewhere like Alton Towers would be good.

Where's Alton Towers?
And being from the south, I must disagree and think that London's far enough North. Especially if I'm on the Island at the time, when I have to plan ferry times etc...
I have good authority that it's being discussed at the moment.

Alton Towers is near Alton, Staffordshire.
The only problem with Alton Towers is the queueing for the rides (and deciding what to go on) but I guess that it would mean we all get to talk to each other.
London is too far south!
Living on an island, I don't have any touble with ferries

When I'm at home I'm further south than when I'm in Manchester. But only about 2 miles.

Over 100 miles east, though.

I expect it'll all be discussed when it happens, but as the H2G2 base is in London, and that's where Peta, Mark and most of the staff are, I expect that London's where it's gonna be, whether we like it or not.
Having it on the Isle of Wight would be a lot more fun.

That would actually be quite good. I've got relatives living in Poole I could stay with.

You think you have/ have not got problems consider me. If I go over land to London it takes 12-14 hours one way. Providing the ferries are operating in the first place. The Irish sea is notoriuos for cancellations.
I say Alton Towers sound's good. And I'm sure moving the Towers to Alton Towers would't too much hassle, just don't do it next wednesday/thursday, after the Tommorrows World thing.

Well, at the end of the day, it's TPTWVH's decision. Although thinking about it, if it was at Alton Towers, I could stay at Sarah's in Stoke, and not have to worry about finding somewhere to sleep...
But it's still likely to be London.
If you think about it, there's always a H2G2 meet-up at my house. I've 5 IDs, Tim has 2 and Ian has 2. Sometimes Ben visits, and he has 3, and sometimes Sarah, who has 4, visits. So on an average day, there are 9 H2G2 people in our house, and sometimes 12 or 13!
