I don't understand. Can you explain. If it's at all complex I will trawl the backlog at lils, but i'd rather not.

Ok SD, well we decided that it would be friendlier to leave a Calling Card, if we couldn't stay around for long. That way it means that
a) you have bookmarked the thread
b) People know you have been by
c) People also know not to talk to you as technically you aren't there. many a time have people left a smiley etc as a bookmark in a forum. someone else sees it, assumes they are about and start talking to the person in question. generally there is no reply so people get a bit miffed sometimes. hence the invention of the Calling card, allowing people to see that the owner of the card has been, possibly read the backlog and gone again. Simple really

Up till now I've been using plain text on my homepage. I've now been to the GuideML Clinic and the page on Instructions for using GuideML,
and I think I'll give it a try. Anybody got any helpful hints?

I do mean *all* of them, though.

And copy and paste your guidml from the edit box to a program like notepad from time to time, its soul destroying if you've worked hard on your guideml then the browser crashes before you hit "update introduction"

Well, from the backlog, it seems that almost everyone is sticking with classic goo. I think Ioreth is the only one that perfers Alabastard. Is that so? Any other Alabastard lovers out there?

BTW, Ioreth, I got the book 'Caddie Woodlawn' out from the libraray and eventually got to read it (after my daughter and wife read it). We all really enjoyed it and I have orded the sequel from the library. Thanks for the recommendation

I love what twilight did with her name, but I don't think she understands how the mugs work yet. Ook's mug is half a coconut shell with his name on the side in blue paint, according to Vlad. He told me a while ago.
