Snata, I think Joanna was probably using 'guys' in the generic sense. Although trying to guess the sex of a Researcher can be fun at times .

You're probably right. But there is (I think) a difference between the way the sexes write in the Forums. Or maybe the e-language is genderless?

I need some advice. I just found out there are already two researchers named twilight. Should I change my name now? I wouldn't like to because I was going to go with the twilight theme for my page (if I ever get around to that). I checked out their pages and they don't seem to be on h2g2 a lot.
