I wish Scandinavia wasn't the place of retirement for those Caribbean hurricanes - this is the second one that, once growing old and tired after bashing Florida, decided to cross the ocean and retire to Scandinavia. It spent its last breath to cause just a little bit more mischief (storm and rain, but not enough to cause damage) before fading away finally. I wish they would just die peacefully at sea!
*studies satellite pictures showing wave after wave of low pressure weather circling endlessly over Scandinavia*
*sighs*

*Hands Titania an inflatable raft.* Frances gave us some really bad flooding after it worked its way up through the Mississippi Valley, so I know how you feel!

Pah! Z - once you get *really* close to being the answer to life, the universe and all that... *that's* when you should start worrying!
Or actually start looking forward to becoming the Answer!

I find things get better each year, 22 was the best year yet, and 23 is looking even better.

You know what? This whole mixture of researchers of various ages is starting to look like something out of the Otherland by Tad Williams - anyone familiar with his books?

I've never heard of him, but I'll have to go looking... in my spare time...
IIEM, hot chai tea please- I need something relaxing. I just spent two hours tutoring a College Algebra student, and I need to gear my brain down.

The sons reckon they are older than me, mentally. I'm staying at 16!

Next Thursday (it would be wouldn't it? never could get the hang of those) I turn 21. I don't however, look a day over 30. Add this to the fact that my mother was correct when she stated that my mental age is, was, and forever will be '17 going on 2' and I don't know whether maturity wise I'm coming or going.

My boyfriend told me just the other night that one of the reasons he likes me is that I haven't quite grown up. I took it as a compliment. And Z, dear, you were born the year I started high school, so would you just shush already about being old? Geez, if you're old, what does that make me?!

Oh, and I love Tad Williams. Own everything he wrote. Can I be the weird old lady in the house?
