The Case of the Missing Battlestar
Bluebottle Posted Jan 17, 2000
My friend Scifibloke & I had a discussion as to what the best fighter in the universe was, the X-Wing, Y-Wing, Viper, Star Fury, Star Hound, Star Fighter or Galileo shuttle. It went on for months... All I remember was the Star Fury being the most maneuverable.

Irving walks in, notices that he really doesn't have a clue about this conversation, and burrys himself behind the espresso machine.

I loved the film. It wasn't till last summer that I learnt there had been a spin off tv series and they were re-running it. It was really annoying that I missed most of it due to my summer job
Tea please Irving, 1 sugar, 3 milk.

The film was a re-release of the first 3 episodes of the series. In fact there were 2 series. "Battlestar Galactica" - which was about all the main characters searching for Earth, and because that cost too much, Glen A Larson was forced into making "Galactica 1980" about a group of kids pretending to be cubs on Earth and jumping quite high... It was bad.
But there are new Battlestar Galactica possibilities! See:

The episode where Stabuck and Apollo intecepted a distorted transmission of Armstrong's moon landing nearly moved me to tears. Even when I saw it in my early twenties.
*Choke* I think I'll be needing another of those fine caramel jobs, Mr W.
