A Conversation for The Café

A thespian? How wonderful! And I always thought that Café Lattés were concidered much too weak for a European pallet. Of course, maybe the person who told me that was refering more to the French and the Italians than to the Brits, the Scotts, and the Irish. Out of curiosity, how were your "Capucinos" made? I was always shown 1/3 espresso (spelled correctly), 1/3 milk, 1/3 froth. Latté's were 1/3 espresso and 2/3 milk, with some foam on top just so that it looked good. And since we used clear glass mugs for the Lattés, we learned to pour the espresso so that it rested right in between the milk and the froth.

I always thought it was spelt "capuccino" ... but of course I could be wrong. Even amoebas have been known to make mistakes, the last one being 42 million years ago, actually. And that was when they made the fateful decision to stay as one-celled organisms, instead of following the new fashion and progressing to multi-celled capabilities.
On a different note, I feel honoured to be part of this cafe, where good taste so obviously thrives.

Yes, the killer chai maker position is still open. No, no spam served here -- well, not often, anyway

ooh, lovely, well imagine instead a quite strong coffee, as opposed to using an espresso coffee, with the milk and a bit of froth on top for show, in a lug cup. OK, so it was a mexian/american theme restaurant (one of the puddings was custards last stand etc, geronimo beef steak, ugh) but still, I knew more about coffee than the manager, and thats only from my experience of drinking it!

If you've room for a "down on his luck" cleric, I could be a coffee shop philosopher. Barring that I am a deft hand at waiting tables. So what do you say?

Wow... I think that Marv the Grate said something to me, but I was busy watching Helena's... waitressing skills.
