Fangio was kidnapped by Fidel Castro at the last Grand Prix of Cuba before the Revolutiona.

23rd of February 1958, Havana, but I thought it wasn't Fidel Castro who kidnapped him but 9 members of one of his support groups who wanted to show Batista that they were serious about the revolution...

He became quite good friends with the kidnappers actually, they were headed by Faustino Perez but he used to go and visit Arnold Roderiguez Camps for as long as he could and I seem to think he eventually met Castro...

Xolin came on line last week and had Max Moron and Peta and twenty other of our finest citizens looking for a lynching rope. And he even shut up after the first twenty entries and they ranted on arguing with each other for nearly a hundred entries in a most unseemly manner. While he went off and started other fights all over the place. A real cat among the pigeons. Grand stuff.

Oh right...I thought you were talking about shiny red horsies in the same way that many people have spoken to me about shiny cars in the past... so my stance was that I was proving that I followd F1 not because of the drivers or the shiny cars/horsies but because I was interested in the racing... but I completely misunderstood what you were saying hence my apology
