It's probably the intergalactic version of jet-lag and nothing to worry about; or are you part of one of those "18 - 30 Pan Galactic Gargleblasters a day tours"? In which case recovering your memory could take a little longer ....

Oh. I didn't see that post.
I saw an advertisement on a coupon: "Buy any product at double normal price and get any item of equal or lesser value absolutely FREE!"

I grew up with the parody expression:
"Cheap at half the price!"
Could there be a connection?

I saw a Far Side cartoon in which a salesbeing is showing this geek a card which says, "Double your IQ or no money back!" and the geek says, "I dunno ... sounds good to me."

I do know that dolphins are the only creatures on the planet that can shut down half of their brain at will.
Imagine yourself, shutting down half of your brain in some boring meeting.

I have heard a category of music called "Jedi hibernation trance songs" which gets its name from the fact that I go into a Jedi hibernation trance for the duration of it.
Half a brain
plaguesville Posted Jul 16, 2000
In most of the meetings that I attend, anyone with 25% brain activity would be regarded as a genius, aren't I?
Half a brain

*grins*
I just found a can of hair spray that said "CAUTION FLAMMABLE", and went on "Do not spray on naked flames or any incandescent material", carried on "Keep away from sources of ignition" and continued "NO SMOKING".
Huh?
Anyone know what 'flammable' means??...
¦M¦
Half a brain
Dizzy H. Muffin Posted Jul 19, 2000
Flammable means it can catch on fire. Inflammable means it can explode.
And what did it mean by "naked flames"?
Half a brain
Mac (Keeper of indecision) Posted Jul 19, 2000
My little brother knows someone who,on purpose,runs headlong into a wall (no,really).{?}

plaguesville Posted Jul 19, 2000
Unclothed current sexual partners? ( Who may later become "old flames" if they don't get sprayed with flammable substances.)
Still it would make a change from coating them with chocolate spread or petit filout or whatever has been introduced since my time.
Aaaaahhhhh......

You can never properly define intelligence. So let's just stop asking lots of silly questions and go and watch neighbours.

Hi, Mac,
My previous related to Jedi Knight's "Flammable".
Considering your brother's friend's hobby:
is his name "Harvey"?
