hello plaguesville! -hope you liked our little island...unless you live here and already do.
anyone ever hear about the guy who needed a pee at the train station - so he decided to "go" on the tracks-and we all know what electricity does to water-so the electricity ran up his pee and...ZAP...that gotta hurt..

Had a great time, thanks.
No, just an occasional visitor.
On that particular visit we had a particularly smooth sea crossing, so, naturally, I was violently sick all the way. And on the train from Dun Laoghaire (which I understand translates as Blackpool) sometimes through the window because I couldn't get anywhere else. Didn't give the electricity problem a thought at the time, although being dead would probably have been an improvement on the way I felt at that time.

It's dublin that means blackpool.
Y'see the Irish for black is "dubh" (pronounced "dove") and the irish for pool is "linn" (pronounced as it is)
it was called that as dublin was originally situated (and still is,last time I looked) beside the river liffey, which got kinda wide (but isn't anymore as it has been built on) and it looked black, and was a pool so they named it Dubhlinn.now dublin.
couldn't tell you what Dun Laoghaire means though...

Yes there is intelligent life on earth, but it prefers to live underwater, which is the source of all life.Only one direction is needed-breathe regularly.

How about this for ingenuity . . .
I recently entered a lift, pressed the button for the top floor and found that, apart from being numbered in the usual way, it was also marked in Braille for the blind.
'How nice!', I hear you say.
However, the lift was in a multi-storey car park!!!

PS. I've now managed to get MUSIC on my Home Page if anyone wants (or cares) to visit!

Unfortunately, this sort of thing is all too common.
I had my brother phone me up once and when I answered he said he didn't think I would be there.
Hmmm...

I think I need to change my job.
I want to work in the companies that come up with "Serving Suggestions" on food packaging.
You know, like the "Serving Suggestion" for cereal that shows it in a dish with milk on it.
Or for soup that shows it in a bowl with a spoon. Wow, I wonder where they get those wacky ideas from?

There's precious little sitting on this chair. I must be squashing my brain.
Hi, Mac,
Just been re-reading the "wee tingle" posting and notice that I missed out two words from my sickening tale. I meant to say "on the train from Dun Laoghaire TO DUBLIN " before the Blackpool bit. Makes a difference but thanks to the mistake I now know a bit more Gaelic. Please present my compliments, and thanks, to your Da.

Yes, but only the dolphins. How 'bout this one:
On a box of marbles from Target: Warning: contains small glass balls.
(Not only that, the packaging on the front was clear cellophane)

Welcome to our humble, dull, but mostly harmless planet, Sire,
It's déjà vu all over again.
