Damn, I missed it! Congratulations, Coely, I always knew you could do it. Have a magnum of champagne and a bran muffin.

Gwennie Posted Apr 2, 2000
*Gwennie who was holding her breath the whole time, picks herself up from the floor and starts to return to her normal colour*
WOW! What a feat!
Oh, on the subject of feet..... You can keep hubby's socks and put them in a glass case or something. They'd only end up being chewed by our puppy anyhow as he's always leaving his socks lying around on the floor!
I've always wanted to spend two weeks in a posh hotel by the falls this is fun! *Gives a huge, relaxed sigh!*
Anyone called room service yet? *Looks round for 'phone...*

Lets all meet up in the dining room for some breakfast. Time Zone makes no difference - order what you like!
*calls* Waiter! One vegitarian breakfast platter for Gwennie and the full English fry up for me!
Anyone else?

Gwennie Posted Apr 2, 2000
*Starts to drool in anticipation of large expensive breakfast...*
Last one to the dining room is a rotten egg!

Have you tried the virtual tour from the hotel page yet? You have to wait a while for the panorama, but it's really good! Take a look at reception. If you study it carefully you will see the glass case with the smelly socks on the wall1 Check out the dining room too. I'm at the table by the window.

Holy Coely!! You did it!! I am SO PROUD of you!! *Hands Coelacanth a pan of fresh baked extra fudgy and iced brownies and $25. (Coely already has her best towel), and gives Coelacanth a big hug and kiss.*
Really magnificent. When you made that last leap my heart almost stopped. Can I get you anything? Are you feeling ok?
I'll have hot darjeeling tea and a croissant. I'm still too excited to eat anything heavy. How about mimosas all around? My treat!

Linus...42, i guess that makes me the answer... Posted Apr 3, 2000
*emerging from Shazz's double room and notices the stares of all the others who were no doubt expecting TM*
Haven't you heard of holiday romances.......LOL
Relax, you all know that Shazz rarely sleeps, so she lent me her room for a well deserved nap, earned by needing to read the entire thread from the very beginning, due to being out of contact for 4 weeks.
Now i've got a headache. Nothing a bloody mary wouldn't fix though

coelacanth Posted Apr 3, 2000
Welcome Linus! Glad you could join us. We have two floors booked so there was no need to share!
WAITER - Large Bloody Mary over here please! Can we tempt you with some brekky? You might like a Western Omlette.

Ah, Coely, it was brilliant of you to book these floors for two weeks. There is so much to see, but I think I just want to party. We have a very good local radio station, HTZ-FM. If we leave the radio on , no one will have to bother changing albums. Unless, of course, someone has a specific request. I've brought my stereo and CD's just in case. We definitely need a round of shots. I stole God's bottle from Greebo's party. I'm sure God has an unlimited supply. CHEERS, MY DEARS. To Coely's unbelievable, I mean believable jump. Hip, Hip, Hurray!

Love the music! I'll need a straw for the drink, so cheers
I've just found out (from the DINING link off the hotel site) that there is Karaoke in Stanley's Lounge.
If you check out the vitrual panorama you will see that it looks a bit empty and the barman has nothing to do.
So - all off there for a singalong and a drink!
What is your choice anybody?
Sheraton Fallsview
alicat (Patron Saint of Good Taste) Posted Apr 3, 2000
I'm afraid if I sing, the barman will leave, as well. We should certainly check out his mixing technique. How about a round of Zombies? After a couple of those, I'll forget I can't sing. I brought an extra long twisty straw for you. Coely. By the way, I loved your mermaid tale (tail?, Sorry. )
Karaoke
coelacanth Posted Apr 3, 2000
Thank you! I had a little bit of help with the tail/tale from Elfin.
What is a Zombie like? And why do we seems to be the only ones drinking?
