Fortunately, as with all the meets I have been to, I have had to be circumspect, as I have always been a chaperone, being a Londonite, for those who cannot get to their respective station, or are worried about travelling across London. Last Summer's Meet involved at least four night 
es but the evening was well worth it, as was the company.
Anyway, I don't do it for the reward. I just enjoy the warm glow of having pleased someone. That is all I need.

I gave £5:00 to someone who had run out of petrol, and needed £6:50 just to buy a petrol can.

I gave £50 to a Canadian woman in a bank once. She was a tourist and was in tears 'cos she'd lost her purse and it was going to take 2 days to get money sent to her. Everybody called me a mug but 6 weeks later, she sent me a cheque for £50

A few days ago I helped a very drunk friend walk home from a party we were at. When she threw up I cleaned it up, then set her alarm so she wouldn't miss work the next day and helped her to bed.

changes mind and grabs Icy North warmly by the throat.
No I am not, I have gone from a mild disinterest to a hatred of football due to WC blanket coverage.

...to keep subject on topic, my good dead for the day wil be putting some newspapers in recycling bin, rather than throwing them in normal bin.

I must admit, I hadn't considered that as a good deed. I recycle every Tuesday morning out of habit. I actually have an old Vacuum Cleaner box in the corner of my lounge which I throw my papers in, so that they transfer perfectly into my green bin.
