Don't you think it will be better if we had one "humungous" thread to act as inspiration for others?

If you need to "ask" if it's a good deed, it isn't

I could maybe include the date in the subject line, would be some maintenance to change it every day , but I could try to think of it.

I picked someone up when they walked face first into a glass door and managed not to laugh!

If you want the editing rights, I could ask the eds to move them over to you. I think as it is, it's only me who can edit the entry - but it's ok, really, only problem will be to remember it every day.

Isn't changing the heading of the thread as we go along good enough?
you can post stats on the entry part: like, most good deeds done on June 33rd, or most old ladies helped across the street, februrary 30th.

Oh, I see what you mean... changing the date in the message box. Though, it seems only this thread is being used.

I talked to the printers at work, and found the photo original file at the PR department, borrowed it from them and gave to the printers, so now my ex boss will get an almost life size poster of himself beside a huge copy of one our products for his leaving do.

I did some research and about how so many children find their way to Emmily's pet adoption page ( we had wondered for ages), was lucky and found it out and informed Emmily

Does it have to be a good deed I did today, or can it be something I did a few weeks ago?

It can be a good deed you did a while ago, the date doesn't really matter, we only thought we'd change it to be able to keep track a bit better

I washed the dishes! Without being asked. And when my sister lost the key to the house and got us both locked out for hours, with my textbooks on the other side, I wasn't about it. Much.

Parked at the waterfront for lunch, a party of handicapped kids drew up next to me. One kid was fascinated by my car, (a hybrid) so I took him and his helper for a drive round the carpark. I then let him drive it (in a straight line for about 50yds). He was so excited and pleased I think he actually did me the good deed 'cos I spent the rest of the day smiling at his happy face.

I have been directed here as having done a good deed. I have to admit all I have done is a damage limitation exercise. Anyway here is my good deed.
"Ye Olde London is ed for Saturday the 8th July. I have paid a £50:00 deposit, refundable if £500:00 or more is spent over the bar between 19:30 until 23:00, or I lose it. (No 2legs, anything you drink beforehand does not count.) So you had better be thirsty, Roymondo... It is the upstairs bar, and I didn't food. I had to make an executive decision. If it is wrong, I apologise now. I took the decision that somewhere had to be ed quickly...
The upstairs bar closes at 17:00, but they are keeping an area free for those already there. It is officially ed from 19:30. The address for Newbies is 42 Ludgate Hill. Tel: 020 7248 1852.
Best I could do at such short notice. And thanks 2Legs, for thinking of it or we would have been stuffed."
Not my idea to but it is in the spirit.

Sounds like a good deed well done.
However, a real good deed involves no reward for yourself so I take it you won't be drinking
