PO'd at life in general and local politicians in particular, but otherwise quite well also.
Getting ready to lock up and go home. I was used to getting off at 5. Now I'm working until 6. I don't really like working until 6. And it makes our dinner late, so I wind up with indigestion in the middle of the night.
OK. TMI

Awesome. A really good haircut is always a cause for celebration.
I have tall grass again, so I need to get that cut this evening. Then I should be able to actually relax. Ooops. Forgot I have to shampoo the carpet in the living room. One of my cats threw up all over it again. And it's a light color so the stain really sticks out. Then I can relax.

Grass is always green and trimmed in Oakwood - never grows
It's the funniest thing - the barber cut in the neck a bit twice, but ended up with one of my best ever haircuts! Life, eh?

He cut you? Twice? And you're happy with him? Suppose he would want to cut my grass?
*wanders off shaking head*

I'm not happy with him. Happy with the haircut. Not the neckcut...
It might take a while with scissors and one of those buzzy things.

I am deeply wounded to know that you consider this an unfriendly place for sweet little old men.
Is he a high school football fan?

Are barbers as boring as hair dressers? I wish they would just shut up and cut my hair. I don't want to chat with them.

Since you were cut twice, I can understand your trepidation.
Please tell me you don't have one of those ultra modern haircuts that make you look like a punk rocker. I don't think I could stand it.

Nope. I can't stand those either
It's nice. All I have to say to the barber is I need a trim. After that I just answer his questions. Normally I'd nod politely, but I'd get cut... again.

I had a scare last week. My youngest staff person came up and asked me if there was anything in the dress code against piercings.
Turns out all she wanted was a tongue thingy. So I told her it was ok. I hope she doesn't decide she wants a nose ring or those eyebrow thingies.

Sheesh, you get a fancy new haircut and then you're too good for side show freaks anymore.
It's ok. I'll be fine. I'll just go over behind the tent and show people my tattoos for free.
Maybe I'll find a to keep me company on my afternoon breaks.
