That was nonsense...and not just what the cat wrote.
What is it with H2G2 and cat owners?
Is there catnip in the frontpage that draws us in?

Does anyone else's cats like to sit on paper for no apparent reason, or have a strange need to mess with primark bags?

paper yes,
and plastic bags in general he seems to hate
and likes chewing up and sleeping in corrugated cardboard

No, primark bags are now paper...I have to cut through the handles so they don't get stuck. One cat's very clever, (The fat one of course) he sees the plastic container of food on the side and pushes it along the table in the hopes that when it falls off, it will fall open.

the one problem with pets is the jumping icky things they occasionally have all over them

My cat, Sam, used to like sitting on top of the draw filled with potatos, since they had newspaper on top...and then something changed. Someone left a chrisp box out and she sat in there. I think it was all a plot to stay in the kitchen and go through things that smell like food.

one of my cats bought me a completely unharmed mouse to my bedroom door once, which is extreemly touching sinse my rooms on the third floor so she must have gone to great lengths not to harm it. she sat outside meowing repeatedly until i opened the door and then she started bounding around after it

Our cats are trapped inside, so no 'presents' for us . The best they get is flies or spiders that find themselves in. It's cute, when you're not on spider rescue duty

ooh! i never mentioned my cat sophie's spectacular feat of escapology!
i was sitting in my recliner with sophie on my lap, when she jumped down and wandered off, i didnt want her getting trapped or stuck underneath my chair so i carefully inspect underneath and then put the footrest down, i was sitting down for about five seconds when i hear "help me! help me! help me!" in Catese, yup, somehow she had magically warped inside the chair while i was carefully inspecting it
although i suppose that would be escapology in reverse wouldnt it? what would you call that? ygolopacse?

Our cats can be a nightmare. We knew that Sam likes to hide under draws (Or in them if they were open long enough). she had a nice hiding place inder the draws in the loft. One day, my mum was minding her own business and must have looked behind the draws to find the nest of cat shredded paper under there.
Do you ever feel like you're going to run your cat over when on a computer chair (with wheels obviously)? I always have to check before reversing.
