"Nudge, nudge, wink, wink" is associated with a Monty Python sketch of the same name. Here's a brief outline, from memory.
1. Phrases, such as "I'll bet your wife's a bit of a goer, eh? Know what I mean? Say no more!", are heard from Eric Idle, who is wearing a moustache and a regimental blazer.
2. Bemused (and slightly irritated) responses to Idle's suggestive questions come from Terry Jones, dressed as a "City gent".
3. Punchline: Idle: "Tell me, have you ever slept with a woman?"
Jones: "Yes."
Idle: "What's it like?"
