I don't tend use all that many smileys in postings however , no point. Though a posting where I don't use a single smiley is a very rare one

I don't kill threads with a 'yep' 'nope' or 'ah' however, I kill them by writing a thought through and in depth response, along with an added note that I am very much a student and there are several things that I haven't learnt yet or don't understand well enough. Works every time

Good good. The guy who runs that page (Arthbard) is an incredibly hoopy frood, but he's often offline for months at a time when he's not at college, so he'll see it eventually. I hope.

Tum ta pom...
Currently playing the Hitchhikers Guide Java Text Gamey Thing. It's a good laugh. And a medium steak, with some light cheese. I highly recommend it at http://www.douglasadams.com/creations/infocomjava.html . Tum tiddly pom...

I've already had a play at the game, is great fun though I got very stuck. The things I had to do to catch the bable fish . Did that though, but got lost on the Heart of Gold.

It's funny and good, but one mistake on the Java version and, since there's no save, you've gotta start all over again. I haven't managed to get too far yet. It's easy except for the gratuitous deaths.

I tried to save the web page, but alas it didn't help. And I'm willing to bet the original is now impossible to get. And so another bit of DNA has dissapeared forever.
U42 , live on.

I think the original version is impossible to get, but there is a full download somewhere, I just can't remember where. (It was 6 months ago when I came across it)
