I might be moderated if I did, just as one of my other replies to you was moderated... But I am with Peachy on this.smiley - peacedove

So where was I using personal abuse? You cannot get moderated for pointing that out.

If you have to resort to personal abuse to get your point over, you cannot have much of a point.

Perhaps if we let Stuart have the last word, he'll do us all a favour & shut up. Is the ban lifted yet? Take a look at http://www.bbc.co.uk/dna/h2g2/F111962?thread=259393&post=3255210#p3255210 Dry.

Not a chance - not until I have had an answer to the question I asked which doesnt seem to be forthcoming.

.. and while we are at it, another question. Why should I shut up? Isn't this all about free speech.

I won't leave, that won't solve anything. I just felt that the conversation was inappropriate to the seriousness of the petition.

I think Tango or one of the others was keeping track of those researchers who are genuinely active on h2g2. Who's online is misleading as the contents changes but if we did have 68 out of about 133 people who realistically had any chance of voicing an opinion, then that would be a large proportion. I have no idea what the true number of active h2g2ers (as opposed to U-numbers) is though.

that would be a good study. nice research project, getting all the statisics on how many people have accounts, then how many use them after the frst 6 months etc.
good idea
