the memble berries with the multitudinous mumbers!!!
haven't you heard of them?
42
Swiv (decrepit postgrad) Posted Jun 9, 1999
definetly not
should we have?
why does any body want multitudinous numbers?
letters are much more interesting and humane
42
Smiley Ben Posted Jun 9, 1999
not multitudinous numbers, multitudinous *m*umbers - I think that may be where this confusion arose!
42
Fluke Posted Jun 9, 1999
Surely a mumber is just a number incorrectly spelt.
For example, Foty-Two.

Smiley Ben Posted Jun 10, 1999
Oh dear. I suspect this is where the confusion arose. Nobody intended to get into an in depth discussions of mumbers!
oh alas and alack...

The true Reason CHAOS
Mrs Bk Posted Jun 11, 1999
The true reason is that the chaos theory is correct ! nothing actually happens in balance or is predictable. Its all chaos. All acts are
random and unpredictable. After all, who would have predicted 42 was actually anything other than two random numbers? Yet on
this site there are stacks of 42's - its chaos
42
Mrs Bk Posted Jun 11, 1999
All of you have it wrong. 42 is not the answer. If it was do u think the guide would give it to us?? or don't you think it's a bit srange that they didn't put the words "the answwer" (or words to that effect) before it. 42, is just something to talk about. :o)
The true Reason CHAOS
Swiv (decrepit postgrad) Posted Jun 12, 1999
Is the chaos theory the one with the drops of water?
Or have I just seen too many dinosaur movies?
The true Reason CHAOS
Fluke Posted Jun 12, 1999
Chaos - is that the one that states whenever you drop a piece of bread on the floor it'll land butter side up?
Oh, no, that's the 'Whenever you drop a piece of bread on the floor it'll land butter side up' theory.
The chaos theory says that everything's buggered up.
The true Reason CHAOS
Swiv (decrepit postgrad) Posted Jun 14, 1999
So that would be life in general then?
The true Reason CHAOS
Artretia Dent Posted Jun 14, 1999
The reason chaos takes over is because it's more organised than organisation.
