Celery-Webjello Party!
Created | Updated Jan 28, 2002
The Celery: What a wonderful...
Dolores: You forgot to turn on the microphone again!
The Celery: [click] Oh... that's better. Well the party is over, but the fun is just beginning. Now's the time to VOTE! And if all goes well, we'll have an even bigger party here when the election is over. Thank you all for your support.
Dolores: Does that mean we'll get to dance again?
Celery: Yes, Dolores, you can dance.
Dolores: Great!

The Rooms
The Celery's prepared statement is available in the Press Room, along with the opportunity to ask any questions you might have of The Celery's staff.
Dominating the center of the room is a huge dance floor complete with mosh pit, and the far side of the room has a long stage with two virtual live bands. A field separates the two halves so that the music and lights from one doesn't reach the other, while dancers and conversation can pass freely.
The Dining Room: Large interconnected banquet tables make conversation easy during dinner. Near the tables are plush sofas with small tables for those who prefer a more sybaritic style of dining. There is also a fireplace with easy chairs and end tables with brandy and cigars. The gourmet meal is served in rotating, never-ending courses, with all the options available at the table in front of you regardless of when you arrive. Staff are available to handle any special requests.
Formal attire is requested. Please announce what you are wearing when you enter the thread. Here's a fashion report published on the society page in the Post on what some of the guests were wearing.
