Not yet.
I have Amazon emailing me when it's here, but they don't have a clue.

I've heard a whole load of different release dates, but my most reliable source says sometime this June.

But then again, it was supposed to be out last summer, then about the same time as the film, so you can;t really rely on it.

This has disintegrated, hasn't it?
Amazon told me this:
"In the fifth Harry Potter story, the secrets of Harry's past are revealed. Professor Dumbledore tells him, "It is time for me to tell you what I should have told you five years ago, Harry. Please sit down. I am going to tell you everything..." "
Any thoughts?

it'll probably be followed by
..."that happened after your parents death to protect you" or something that really isn't everything.

You're right. It still sounds like we're going to hear something useful, though. (I like hearing background info, even if it isn't entirely relvant)

Richard Madeley said that the "Harry Potter conspiracy theorists" (whoever they are) were suggesting that the line you've just quoted could be the last line of the 5th book!
I think that's unlikely though - it would be a very un-Rowling-like way to end a book, in all honesty.

yeah and she always ends with harry's going home and i think it'll follow with why voldemort was so desperate to kill harry

actually - new idea - Dumbledore wants to tell Harry everything, starts, and then gets interupted by something really dramatic happening, and all the exposition gets put on hold till book 6.

The Rogue aka Phoniex Posted Jan 20, 2003
maybe but i think she'd be killed if she dared

***SPOILER*** (Or fatuous rumour... just don't say you weren't warned)
Apparently Mrs Figg (the woman with lotsa cats who the Dursleys dump Harry on sometimes) gets a role in the new book. Maybe the "Old Magic" protection surrounding Harry at the Dursleys will be explained.

Yes, at the end of book 4 Voldemort moans about how he can't posibly get to Harry while he's with his relatives, and then Harry gets sent home for the holidays by Dumbledore at a time when he needs all the protection he can get.
