Talking Point: Most Embarrassing Moments

13 Conversations

A poodle, blushing.

Embarrassing experiences - we've all had them - those mortifying memories that we wish we could box away, bury and just forget about. Whether we've been caught picking our nose in public or seen snogging the married boss at the Christmas party, some we can forget, some we love to remember, and others we're forced to remember.

Or maybe humiliating happenings are just a way of life for you? Do you regularly find you speak and just can't help but stick your foot in your mouth?

This week's Talking Point asks you to share your pain and divulge your most mortifying moments. Free yourself and tell us:

  • What are your most embarrassing memories? How did you cope?

  • Have you ever bitched about a colleague, only to find him/her standing behind you?

  • Have you ever paid a visit to the washroom, only to find you left without your dignity with your clothes tucked into your underpants? Or with toilet paper trailing behind you?

  • Are people afraid to be seen with you for fear of being embarrassed?

  • With more and more Reality TV shows taking over our screens are we turning into a nation addicted to enjoying watching people humiliate themselves?
