Have you ever bitched about a colleague, only to find him/her standing behind you?
No, but I did make a rather unflattering remark about a woman who I saw walking down the street. I was on a bus and as I turned around, I noticed her husband sitting two seats behind me.
Yes, I'm certain that he heard me.
His reaction? When we got off at our stop, he wanted to know if he could borrow some money from me.
