I woke with a start

Then a belch and a f4rt

which got me a bl***y great slap!






In order to make myself scarce,

I hid amongst pottery wares

'tween the vases and pots

Shaped like balls and shallots

ignoring the worst of the stares

I was gettiug some very strange looks

And compared with some photo's of Crooks

I looked pretty shifty

For one nearly fifty

and that was in anyone's books

Whilst hiding amongst all those crocks

I hurled a number of rocks

playing 'knock 'em down Ginger'

'Till I clobbered a whinger

And had to make haste in me socks

Today my old car failed to start

Then I found it was missing a part

Praps a phlange or a cog??

For the boiler - a log?

Where did I put that horse and cart ???



This glass of redwine is quite nice

Just had one, 'twas down in a trice
