>> and save it <<

...because it will take days to figure out all the buttons.
And the whole point of a recorder/playback is to save one's work.

Thanks. I didn't intend to download and install software, tbh. I know there's a page somewhere where you can find old google doodles. smiley - smiley

Today (May 30th) it's the birthday of Peter Carl (aka Karl Gustavovich) Fabergé, famous for the jewelled eggs he made for the Russian royal family. I'm wearing my Fabergé-style egg pendant in honour of the occasion.smiley - smiley

Not to be accused of looking a gift horse in the mouth
but... may I suggest that instead of trying to make all
the letters look like fabulously decorated eggs, maybe
the small 'g' coulda been a sand-dial egg-timer. Perhaps
such a visual pun is inappropriate for highly regarded
artworks but the artists seem to have focused on the
decorated surfaces and lost the 'shape' of things as if
feeling confined by the pre-ordained natural form of eggs
which for Faberge was a starting point not a limitation.
Oh god, why am I being so petty this morning...

That profile doesn't look anything like her! I can't judge how well they've portrayed the dogs.

You should see the crap Canada Day image they've
hobbled together for July 1st. It makes that Queen's
Birthday one seem like a work of art. Man, these
people really know how to make 'other' countries
feel second rate. It doesn't even try to properly
render the word google and consists of a badly drawn
stereotype of a beaver, trees, mountains...

I noticed, what a pile!

I also tried .com instead of .ca to see what the 'regular' doodle was but my 'puter won't let me.

My god you're up early! Or.. late?

In the Chrome browser the google page has a very tiny link
on the bottom that goes to their 'main' homepage .com

Also worth noting, in Chrome, if you hit the Chrome icon
on your utility bar (quick launch) a second time it opens
a 'new tab' (which is not really a 'tab' but a new window
with two pages connected horizontally by a forward > and
a back < button that shows your favourite pages visited and/or
their main links - gmail, search, chrome store, etc.

At the bottom there are also tiny tiny link buttons to .com

It's always nice to have multiple redundant bookmarks but
these don't seem to work with a right click and a selection
of 'open in new window' options, but only as left clicks.

Not being a habitual player, (I can't even get the hang of Super Mario) I knocked most of the hurdles down. Best time just over 20 secs in the end though.

18.3 on my first go. Tripped the first hurdle, but got the distance after that.

16.3 on my second go. No hurdles down.
