I've just heard on the radio that Australia is the dryest continent/island/large land blob in the world. So they've come up with the best toilet design for water conservation. It only used 8 ounces of water to flush! It has two buttons on it. You push button number one when you go #!, and you push button number 2 for, well... you know... when you need more water!

So I imagine that those ducks are just happy to have ~something~ moist to swim around in...

Am I to understand from this that in the USA you do not have dual-flush loos?

Just mono-flush toilets. I didn't know they had dual-flush ones! We waste lots and lots of water here! You're welcome to leave the faucets running if you'd like!

So everytime I walk into a bathroom I'll flush the loo, just for fun!

Exactly! Our toilets here have 10 gallon tanks on them pardner! You can flush an entire Volvo if you want!
