smiley - smileyGood day...I believe in German, gutten tag(?). I'm glad the smiley - coffee was appreciated. We have a German grocery maybe half a kilometre west of me, so I've tried both the Tchibo & Eduschio-prefer the Tchibo. I thought I'd offer 'the good stuff'!smiley - winkeye

Hey I'm gooey!smiley - winkeye I use the Classic Goo skin because I find the colour contrast(dark background)easier on my eyes. Or certainly for longer periods of time!

Hallo Darrell, smiley - smiley

from the design point of view, especially the colour, I prefer the GOO skin as well, but with the Brunel I find things easier to find.

Actually Tchibo and Eduscho are the same company by now (a couple of years ago Tchibo bought Eduscho) but I believe the coffee still tastes slightly different). If I buy good coffee it is Tchibo as well (but usually I have to save my money so I do my shopping in a discounter).

Do you happen to know Milka choclat? For me that is the best - with the exception that I haven't found any bittersweet choclat from them for ages now smiley - wah

Have another smiley - coffee and enjoy the day

Tina

You're right, Tina, Eduscho is practically non -existant anymore - at least here. Tchibo only still uses the name of Eduscho for Eduscho's 'Gala' coffee.

I never eat Milka smiley - choc it's too sweet for my taste, it makes my teeth hurt.

I think it is only a PR trick, because they know that some people stick to the label they are used to.

The important thing is:

smiley - coffee has to be black, strong and sweet

Not quite, smiley - coffee has to be white, with lots of smiley - milk and no sugar. smiley - biggrin

I hardly ever drink smiley - cappuccino. Black smiley - coffee only when we've run out of smiley - milk.

Ah danke Tina! A second smiley - coffee would be good. Yes I imagine large companies such as Tchibo own different brand names that most consumers aren't aware of. And of course also grow & aquire or buy out competitors(growing even more!) I just recently found Tchibo smiley - coffeeat a discounter...somewhat unusual as they sell mainly clothing and such. (http://www.winners.ca)

Oh yes I've had the Milka smiley - choc, this grocery I mention-owned by the Krause family-has a large selection of smiley - choc. They seem to import many of their items. I don't often find Milka bittersweet...I do like the Dutch Droste smiley - choc, they make a nice bittersweet pastille. They also have a very good extra dark(72%)pastille. I like that smiley - chocsmiley!smiley - winkeye

At home or work I drink smiley - coffee
when going out, especially to an italian ice café, I chose smiley - cappuccino, after dinner it is espresso though

Darrell,

you are always welcome to a smiley - coffee
and of course I will always see that I have some smiley - choc left for you

All this buying and selling of companies - in fact you never know who belongs together and who is behind which brand. Actually there are only a few companies i.e. in the food-market, but a lot of brands (same goes for washing powder). At least it is so in Germany, but I wouldn't be surprised if is a worldwide phenomenon.

Tina, practically everything belongs to N****é nowadays.

You are right B'Elana - and I am sure it is not a good thing (if one company gets too strong)

I would gladly change place now, a 13.9 degree sounds better than the sticky air that we have here now (though outside is a bit nicer than in my appartment, but it is built in a way, that air doesn't really get through it and I have nearly no draught even when opening all doors and windows).

Oh yes Tina I'm sure that's the case - many brands, but only a few L-A-R-G-E companies(making greater profits!)

smiley - biggrinThat's good to know Tina! smiley - hugThey're a a good match/pair, smiley - coffee& smiley - choc.

Yes B'Elana N***le is the prime example of a L-A-R-G-E company. They seem to have a finger in every pie, so to speak!
