What's Okra?

And my blood pressure is always low. Right now, I'm surprisingly well, though.

okra is a vegetable which is often found in the arab/african/asian kitchen, in Germany you don't find it very often yet

Well, I oggoled for it, and I've indeed never before heard of it, or seen it.

Well I find it difficult to describe B'Elana, but it's a vegetable(also known as ladyfingers). Something like very short stalks of asparagus, with a very thick gooey juice inside. Because of that juice it's often used to thicken stews & such.

I have heard of it and actually already seen it, but not tried it (unless it was in some of the food I had in Tunisia and didn't realize it)

If I can remember it, I'll look out for it, or better, ask my m-i-l to do so. She goes to a special market in town quite regularly.

Thank you for the compliment B'Elana/Claudia. My father was a smiley - chef so a bit of it comes naturally. Also I learned early that when you cook, you can prepare food the way you like it.
