Where's normaility gone?

I get married next week. Everything has gone to hell in a hand basket. My (for want of a better word) Bridesmaid (and chief photographer) has pulled out of my 'big day' because she can't be civil to the 'Best man'. Thanks for that.
You were always going to be there, now you're not. Talk about notice! 
You won't ruin our day, it will be poorer without you, though.

Scuba diver...

Well, thanks to Marple Carnival yesterday, I have now added two more members to our every growing menagerie. We are now the proud owners of two goldfish, Fluffy (which seems a bit of an odd name, but then K is only 4 
), and Lolly. We now have to go to the pet shop to get the various bits and bats to go with them 
Hubby thinks I'm going to start a badger sancturay next 
- I've not told him about my plans for the bottom end of the garden 
to Stockport
I just hope they survive the weekend

have just aquired 4 of the cutest rodents in the entire universe. Robowski hamsters. Noisy little blighters, running in their wheel, but ooh, yummy! (and no I aint gonna eat 'em)

Kick up the butt

I recently recieved a large kick up the rear-end. The company I have worked for for the last 6 years is closing the department I have worked on all this time and are going to "redeploy" me. I do love that word, what it basically means is "Hey, Magwitch, you have it good for six years, now come and find out why we have a very large turnover of staff in the rest of the company"
Thanks guys, but I think I'll give it a miss. It was never my intention to work my whole life in a call centre and now you have given me the perfect reason to leave and apply for my dream.
Primary school teacher....not rocket science I know, and also by all accounts not as easy as it first looks, however, have been meaning to do it for a while (ten years, to be precise) and now seems like the ideal opportunity.
Pah, motoring organisations...bye, bye. I wont be letting the doorknob hit me where the door should have bit me.....
