Hello.

My name is Matt, and I a man of many facets (well, two that I can think of off the top of my head):

I am a Doctor1

From New Zealand in fact, a small country next to a much larger, brasher neighbour (Australia). For comparison, think of Portgual (if you're European) or Canada (if you're American).

I am currently in the training programme to become a psychiatrist. This is a good fit for me because, for a doctor, I don't much like other people's bodily fluids.2

I am a Music Geek

Mainly in that much-maligned genre of alternative rock, but a bit of hip-hop never goes astray either.

List? Why certainly:

Pixies, Pulp, Smiths, Jane's Addiction, Wilco, Pernice Brothers, Radiohead, Polyphonic Spree, Jay-Z, Public Enemy, De La Soul, Massive Attack, Parliament/Funkadelic, James Brown, Marvin Gaye, Beatles, Stones, Stone Roses et al. And a whole bunch of New Zealand bands you may or may not have heard of, like Shihad.

I may or may not update this intro to include more interesting information. It all depends on who how hard I'm working...
1Which, among, other things is a lyric from Supergrass' 'Sun Hits the Sky'.2Particularly on my shoe.
