*Rubs posterior* The rules have now been amended to show gold silver and bronze and the extended voting time.

Suggestion: Why not have voting throughout the time allowed to post the next word. Then, whenever a player comes on to play the game they can vote as well.

This would mean voting for word A would take place while play on word B is taking place and stops when word C is announced - at which point voting on word B begins.

We often had to wait for a long time to hear the winners when Neri was scoring so we don't really need to rush anything. Then it means that people only have to get online once, at any time, during the week to carry out two tasks.

I am perfectly happy with that. If when Hell... posts the new word, it would indicate end of voting for the penuiltimate word and the start of voting for the previous word, until another new word is posted....I think , if that makes some sort of illogical sense...

It's a game folks!!

Changing it so we can vote and post entries at the same time sounds good to me. I keep missing 1 or the other due to only being on when at work.

What is the rule on voting? Do we have to have contributed to register a vote or can we vote regardless??? I didn't manage to post anything for 'courage' but would like to vote if poss?

But best put a query into your postal vote eh?? Just in case then MMF can disregard them if needs be.

I'm happy with anyone voting to be honest. If we have viewers who are reading them but not feeling able to play I'd be happy for them to vote. What do other people think?

We did put it in the rules that casual watchers could not vote on the games.

Our two friends asking, are regular players. They have difficulty finding time to post their answers every week.. I feel special dispensation should be allowed to them and other regulars as regards to voting rights.

Of course, if you wish to remove that original ruling, I will agree... as more votes means we could draw more players into the games!

Oh, Lil, you are a one! I'm happy for anyone to vote even though I put the original rules together. My feeling is that most people just enjoy playing th egame and aren't too worried about the voting process just so long as they get the maximum opportunity to have a vote.

Proposal: Anyone may vote on their favourite words in the current round of voting.

Anyone against this proposal?

I certainly have no problems. I think it is also good to get people interested in the thread as well.
So to clarify. We vote on X when Y gets posted, and can continue until Z gets posted, which is when voting on X stops and Y begins.
Voting will be open to all in the order of 1st = 3 points, 2nd = 2 points, and 3rd = 1 point. One set of three votes per gamer.
Up to 2 telegrams per word can be put forward.
The weekly results will be posted according to the Votes per word.
However the Telegram Roll of Honour will be accrued votes per Gamer. If you prefer it per word, it can be done, but is very messy and time-consuming, and accrued points are probably more accurate.

There ...did I cover all the bases?
Have I given Telegram_Sam more work?
I think soon only the top 'X' (to be decided) can be included in the Roll of honour, as it is getting ungainly.
If that did happen, I would maintain a full list myself, so that those bubbling just below would not be missed out. Maybe "and there are 'Y' waiting to overtake?
